ⓘ Circulating · Total supply · Max supply
Circulating supply: coins currently available to trade, as reported by the data provider.
Total supply: coins created so far, minus any burned. It includes locked or not-yet-released coins.
Max supply: the hard cap on coins that can ever exist. Shown as “No max supply” when the protocol sets no cap.
CryptoWave Health score
Five measurable signals. Each ring segment’s length is its weight; how full it is shows the score.
Volume is 1.15% of market cap. Thin trading; small orders can move the price.
$996.37M market cap, rank #73. Bigger is harder to push around.
73% of the maximum supply circulates. Little dilution ahead.
62.5% below its all-time high of $25.38.
Largest recent swing: 0.78% a day. Calm.
Describes market structure today. Not a price forecast and not investment advice.
How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is Gate (GT)?
GT, also called GateToken, is the core utility token of the Gate crypto exchange and the native asset of Gate Chain, the platform's proof-of-stake blockchain. Gate Chain mainnet launched in 2019. Today GT exists in several forms: an Ethereum token, Gate Chain mainnet GT, Gate Chain EVM GT, and GT on Gate Layer, with conversion between these forms handled on-chain.
What GT is used for
On the exchange, GT is linked to a range of member benefits and platform products, and Gate describes it as supporting payments on the platform too. On Gate Chain it works as the native asset for fees and consensus rewards.
- Discounts and access to token launch products such as Launchpad and Launchpool
- Eligibility for programs such as HODLer Airdrop and CandyDrop
- Staking rewards and payments on the platform
- Participation in the deflationary burn model that reduces supply over time
- Gas and consensus rewards on Gate Chain and its EVM environment
GT supply and token design
Gate publishes a burn announcement every quarter, and the burned tokens are sent to a public burn address on Ethereum and on the Gate Chain EVM, so each burn can be checked on a block explorer. Gate measures the reduction against a starting supply of 300 million GT, and the cumulative burn has removed a large share of that amount. Because Gate announces and funds the burns, the process depends on the company continuing the program, and holders cannot enforce it on their own. Part of the supply is also reserved for Gate Chain consensus node rewards and is released as nodes earn it. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.
Official information is on gate.com.
What to check before using GT
- Issuer dependence: GT's value to holders is tied to a single exchange, its products and its decisions on burns and benefits.
- Exchange risk: holding GT on an exchange exposes you to custody, regulatory and operational risk, so consider self-custody for long-term holdings.
- Multiple versions: there are four forms of GT, so check which network and form you hold before moving or converting it.
- Self-reported burns: burn figures come from Gate's own announcements, so verify the transfer on-chain.
- Program changes: benefits tied to GT can be modified or ended by the exchange.
- Bridge and lock contracts: moving between GT forms uses cross-chain lock contracts, so use only the official conversion routes.

Gate market analysis
With a market capitalisation of $996.37 million, Gate (GT) is classed as a small-cap asset and ranks #73 of 406 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 82.0% of them. It accounts for roughly 0.04% of the combined tracked market value. Small-cap assets can move quickly on news or exchange listings, and liquidity can thin out fast in sell-offs.
Over the last 24 hours roughly $11.41 million of GT changed hands, equal to 1.15% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 68.5% of tracked assets. That is a quiet level of turnover, so large orders may meet limited depth. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 38% of tracked assets.
Price action: GT moved −0.67% in 24 hours and −1.71% over 7 days. It outperformed Bitcoin by 1.51 percentage points over 24 hours and by 1.88 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (ahead by 1.33 points on the day and ahead by 2.79 points on the week), it has been a relative strength in recent sessions.
To overtake Venice Token (VVV) just above it, Gate would need to grow its market cap by about 4.0%; it is 0.5% larger than KuCoin (KCS) just below. Its market cap is 0.06% of Bitcoin's.
