How this score is calculated

A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:

  • Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
  • Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
  • Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
  • Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
  • Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).

Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.

Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

About Open USD

What is Open USD (OUSD)?

Open USD is a US dollar stablecoin governed and operated by Open Standard, a company whose governance is led by its member companies. It launched on 30 September 2026. Coinbase, Mastercard, Shopify, Stripe and Visa were named as founding partners. The token is issued by Bridge, a stablecoin infrastructure company owned by Stripe, and is designed to be redeemable one-to-one for US dollars.

How OUSD works

OUSD is aimed at businesses that move money, such as payment companies and platforms. Qualifying businesses can mint and redeem OUSD against US dollars without a fee, including through partners such as Stripe, BVNK and the Visa Stablecoin Platform. Open Standard says reserve revenue is largely shared with the companies that grow adoption, and it earns its own revenue from a small transaction fee. The arrangement is not exclusive, and partners also support other stablecoins such as USDC.

  • Payments and settlement between businesses.
  • Sending dollars to crypto wallets, which Stripe supports in over 100 countries.
  • Holding or moving dollar value on supported blockchains.

OUSD supply and token design

OUSD has no fixed cap. New tokens are minted when dollars are deposited and removed when they are redeemed, so supply follows demand. Reported reserve custodians are BlackRock, Lead Bank and BNY, and Bridge says it will publish reserve attestations monthly. An attestation is a third-party review of holdings, not a full audit. OUSD runs on Ethereum, Solana, Base and Tempo. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.

The Ethereum contract is 0x9f6F3991D525015a6F8CaF062C83b62fD3AC4436. Verify addresses on the official site before interacting.

Stablecoins like OUSD are meant to hold a steady value of one dollar, but that value depends on the quality of reserves, the redemption process and the operating company. Reading the reserve attestations once they are published is the best way to judge how the backing is held.

Official information is on joinopenstandard.com.

What to check before using OUSD

  • Direct minting and redemption is aimed at businesses. Individual holders usually have to sell on an exchange or through a partner, so market price can differ from one dollar.
  • OUSD is new, with a short track record of maintaining its peg and operating its reserves.
  • Reserves depend on the custodians and banks holding them, which creates counterparty risk.
  • Geographic restrictions and prohibited use cases apply. Read the official terms for your country.
  • Check which blockchain an OUSD token is on before sending, because contracts differ by network.

Open USD market analysis

With a market capitalisation of $880.16 million, Open USD (OUSD) is classed as a small-cap asset and ranks #81 of 1,340 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 94.0% of them. It accounts for roughly 0.03% of the combined tracked market value. Small-cap assets can move quickly on news or exchange listings, and liquidity can thin out fast in sell-offs.

Over the last 24 hours roughly $1.01 million of OUSD changed hands, equal to 0.11% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 55.8% of tracked assets. Trading activity is very low relative to market cap, which usually points to poor liquidity. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 9% of tracked assets.

Price action: OUSD moved −0.22% in 24 hours and −0.23% over 7 days. It outperformed Bitcoin by 1.99 percentage points over 24 hours and by 3.90 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (ahead by 2.06 points on the day and ahead by 5.98 points on the week), it has been a relative strength in recent sessions.

To overtake POL (ex-MATIC) (POL) just above it, Open USD would need to grow its market cap by about 6.3%; it is 0.6% larger than Kaspa (KAS) just below. Its market cap is 0.06% of Bitcoin's.
