ⓘ Circulating · Total supply · Max supply
Circulating supply: coins currently available to trade, as reported by the data provider.
Total supply: coins created so far, minus any burned. It includes locked or not-yet-released coins.
Max supply: the hard cap on coins that can ever exist. Shown as “No max supply” when the protocol sets no cap.
CryptoWave Health score
Five measurable signals. Each ring segment’s length is its weight; how full it is shows the score.
Volume is 9.78% of market cap. Trades easily.
$1.05B market cap, rank #71. Bigger is harder to push around.
69% of the maximum supply circulates. Little dilution ahead.
93.6% below its all-time high of $2.39.
Largest recent swing: 5.27% a day. Moderate.
Describes market structure today. Not a price forecast and not investment advice.
How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is Arbitrum (ARB)?
Arbitrum is a suite of Ethereum scaling technologies built by Offchain Labs. Its main network, Arbitrum One, is an optimistic rollup: it executes transactions off the Ethereum base layer, posts the transaction data back to Ethereum, and assumes results are correct unless someone proves otherwise. ARB is the governance token of the Arbitrum ecosystem. It was introduced in March 2023, when the Arbitrum DAO was launched and an airdrop was announced for early users.
How Arbitrum works
A sequencer orders transactions and publishes them quickly, then posts compressed batches to Ethereum, which gives the transactions Ethereum-level finality. Validators post claims about the chain's state with a bond. If a claim is disputed, the dispute is narrowed down to a single step that is checked on Ethereum, and the party that was wrong forfeits its bond. Unchallenged claims are confirmed after a challenge period of about 6.4 days, so canonical-bridge withdrawals take about a week. The dispute system, called BoLD, lets anyone take part in validation.
The platform also includes Arbitrum Nova, which uses a data availability committee for lower fees, and Stylus, which lets developers write contracts in Rust, C and other languages that compile to WebAssembly.
What ARB is used for
- Voting on proposals that affect Arbitrum One and Nova, including upgrades and use of DAO treasury funds
- Delegating voting power to another address while keeping the tokens in your own wallet
ARB supply and token design
The initial supply was 10 billion ARB. The DAO can mint new tokens at a rate of no more than 2% of supply per year, and only through a constitutional proposal, so ten billion is the starting supply and not a hard cap. The documented allocation gave roughly 35% to the DAO treasury, about 27% to the team and advisors, about 17.5% to investors, and about 12% to the airdrop. Team and investor tokens are subject to four-year lockups, with unlocks beginning one year after launch and continuing monthly. ARB is an ERC-20 token created on Arbitrum One and bridged to other networks. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.
Official information is on arbitrum.io.
What to check before using ARB
- Governance power: voting weight follows token holdings, so a large delegate or holder can have outsized influence over proposals.
- Possible dilution: the DAO has the right to mint up to 2% a year, and scheduled team and investor unlocks add tokens to the market over time.
- Value capture: ARB is a governance token and does not pay gas, so its link to network activity is indirect and depends on what the DAO decides.
- Withdrawal delay: moving funds back to Ethereum through the canonical bridge takes about a week, and third-party bridges add their own risk.
- Fake tokens: ARB exists at different addresses on Ethereum, Arbitrum One and Nova, so verify the contract from official documentation before trading.

Arbitrum market analysis
With a market capitalisation of $1.05 billion, Arbitrum (ARB) is classed as a mid-cap asset and ranks #71 of 406 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 82.5% of them. It accounts for roughly 0.04% of the combined tracked market value. Mid-cap assets sit between the established majors and the speculative long tail, so both growth and drawdowns can be sharp.
Over the last 24 hours roughly $102.67 million of ARB changed hands, equal to 9.78% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 91.1% of tracked assets. That is an active level of turnover for an asset of this size. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 84% of tracked assets.
Price action: ARB moved −5.27% in 24 hours and −8.39% over 7 days. It underperformed Bitcoin by 3.09 percentage points over 24 hours and by 4.80 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (behind by 3.27 points on the day and behind by 3.90 points on the week), it has been a relative laggard in recent sessions.
To overtake Ethereum Classic (ETC) just above it, Arbitrum would need to grow its market cap by about 4.2%; it is 1.3% larger than Venice Token (VVV) just below. Its market cap is 0.07% of Bitcoin's.

Arbitrum FAQ
What is Arbitrum (ARB)?
Arbitrum is an Ethereum scaling platform built by Offchain Labs, and ARB is its governance token. Holders vote on upgrades and treasury decisions for Arbitrum One and Nova.
What is ARB used for?
ARB is used to vote on Arbitrum DAO proposals and to delegate voting power. Gas on Arbitrum One is paid in ETH, not ARB.
How many ARB tokens are there?
The initial supply was 10 billion ARB. The DAO may mint up to 2% of supply per year through a constitutional proposal.
Is ARB a good investment?
ARB is volatile and this is not financial advice. Weigh the risks listed above, including governance concentration and token unlocks, before deciding.
