ⓘ Circulating · Total supply · Max supply
Circulating supply: coins currently available to trade, as reported by the data provider.
Total supply: coins created so far, minus any burned. It includes locked or not-yet-released coins.
Max supply: the hard cap on coins that can ever exist. Shown as “No max supply” when the protocol sets no cap.
CryptoWave Health score
Five measurable signals. Each ring segment’s length is its weight; how full it is shows the score.
Volume is 0.79% of market cap. Thin trading; small orders can move the price.
$46.54M market cap, rank #348. Bigger is harder to push around.
56% of the maximum supply circulates. Little dilution ahead.
98.1% below its all-time high of $146.82.
Largest recent swing: 2.06% a day. Moderate.
Describes market structure today. Not a price forecast and not investment advice.
How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is Venus (XVS)?
Venus is a decentralized money market protocol that launched in 2020 on BNB Chain. Users supply crypto assets to earn interest and borrow against collateral, with interest rates set by the protocol's algorithms. Venus combines money markets of the kind developed by Compound with a stablecoin minting facility of the kind introduced by Maker. XVS is its governance and utility token. The protocol is now deployed on several networks, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, zkSync, opBNB and Unichain.
What XVS is used for
XVS gives holders a say in how Venus is run. Governance decisions are made through Venus Improvement Proposals (VIPs), which can change risk settings, markets, revenue splits and rewards. XVS can also be staked in the XVS Vault.
- Governance: holders vote on VIPs that set protocol rules.
- XVS Vault: staking XVS earns rewards funded by governance decisions, and the docs say those rewards are not guaranteed yield.
- Venus Prime: a rewards program for eligible markets, funded by a share of protocol revenue.
- Treasury: part of protocol revenue is used to buy assets, including XVS, for the treasury.
The latest version of the protocol is designed to improve risk management, decentralization and user experience. Markets on each network are managed through the same governance process, so a single set of VIPs can change parameters across deployments.
XVS supply and token design
The XVS cap is 30,000,000 tokens. Distribution began through Binance Launchpool and protocol participation rewards. Earlier versions of the tokenomics included a BNB burn allocation, but governance ended it, and the current documentation does not describe an ongoing XVS burn. Revenue is now routed to the treasury, Venus Prime and a risk fund through governance-set rules, and buybacks run through TokenBuyback contracts. The BNB Chain contract is 0xcf6bb5389c92bdda8a3747ddb454cb7a64626c63. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.
Official information is on venus.io.
What to check before using XVS
- Smart contract risk: lending protocols hold large pools of assets, and bugs or oracle failures can cause losses.
- Liquidation risk: borrowers can be liquidated if collateral value falls, and fast markets can create bad debt.
- Governance changes: revenue splits, rewards and buybacks are set by votes and can change.
- Multiple networks: XVS exists on several chains, so confirm the network and contract before transferring.
- Competition: lending markets are competitive, and usage can move between protocols.

Venus market analysis
With a market capitalisation of $46.54 million, Venus (XVS) is classed as a micro-cap asset and ranks #348 of 402 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 13.4% of them. It accounts for roughly under 0.01% of the combined tracked market value. Micro-cap assets are thinly traded in most cases: a modest order can move the price and spreads are often wide.
Over the last 24 hours roughly $368.6 thousand of XVS changed hands, equal to 0.79% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 28.1% of tracked assets. That is a quiet level of turnover, so large orders may meet limited depth. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 33% of tracked assets.
Price action: XVS moved −2.06% in 24 hours and −5.15% over 7 days. It outperformed Bitcoin by 0.00 percentage points over 24 hours but underperformed it by 1.29 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (behind by 0.08 points on the day and behind by 0.50 points on the week), it has been a relative laggard in recent sessions.
To overtake Resupply USD (REUSD) just above it, Venus would need to grow its market cap by about 0.1%; it is 0.8% larger than Holoworld (HOLO) just below. Its market cap is under 0.01% of Bitcoin's.
