How this score is calculated

A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:

  • Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
  • Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
  • Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
  • Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
  • Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).

Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.

Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

About USAT

What is USAT (USAT)?

USAT is a US dollar stablecoin positioned as the federally regulated, US-market counterpart to Tether's USDT. It is issued by Anchorage Digital Bank, N.A., a national bank supervised by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Tether announced the project in September 2025 and named Bo Hines to lead its US division, and USAT went live on 27 January 2026.

The official site is published by Tether Operations but states that Tether is not the issuer. The issuer of record is Anchorage Digital Bank, which matters for who owes you redemption.

What USAT is used for

USAT is designed to hold one US dollar of value per token, so it can serve as a settlement and payment asset on public blockchains. Typical uses include:

  • Moving dollars between wallets and exchanges without waiting for bank settlement hours.
  • Holding a dollar-denominated balance on-chain between trades.
  • Paying for goods and services in applications that accept dollar stablecoins.

The issuer positions USAT as an option for US customers, since USDT is not legally offered to them.

USAT supply and token design

USAT has no fixed cap. New tokens are issued when dollars are deposited, and tokens are removed when they are redeemed, so supply follows demand. The issuer states that each token is redeemable for one US dollar and backed in full by liquid reserves. The first published attestation described the reserves as US dollar cash and reverse repurchase agreements collateralized by US Treasury securities, held in segregated fiduciary trust accounts.

USAT is not legal tender, is not guaranteed by the US government, and is not covered by FDIC or SIPC protection. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page. The Ethereum token contract is 0x07041776f5007ACa2A54844F50503a18A72A8b68; check it on a block explorer before sending funds, because lookalike tokens with the same name exist for most popular stablecoins.

Official information is on usat.io.

What to check before using USAT

  • Redemption terms: confirm who can redeem directly with the issuer, any minimums or fees, and what an ordinary holder can do instead, such as selling on an exchange.
  • Depeg risk: the dollar peg depends on the quality and liquidity of the reserves, and market prices can drift from one dollar in stress.
  • Counterparty exposure: reserves sit with the issuer and its custody arrangements, so read the latest attestation rather than relying on the headline backing claim.
  • Young track record: the token launched in 2026, so it has far less operating history than established stablecoins.
  • Do not confuse USAT with USDT, which has different issuers, reserves and eligibility rules.

USAT market analysis

With a market capitalisation of $180.04 million, USAT (USAT) is classed as a small-cap asset and ranks #194 of 1,340 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 85.5% of them. It accounts for roughly under 0.01% of the combined tracked market value. Small-cap assets can move quickly on news or exchange listings, and liquidity can thin out fast in sell-offs.

Over the last 24 hours roughly $816.0 thousand of USAT changed hands, equal to 0.45% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 52.4% of tracked assets. That is a quiet level of turnover, so large orders may meet limited depth. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 17% of tracked assets.

Price action: USAT moved −0.05% in 24 hours and −0.02% over 7 days. It outperformed Bitcoin by 2.16 percentage points over 24 hours and by 4.11 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (ahead by 2.23 points on the day and ahead by 6.20 points on the week), it has been a relative strength in recent sessions.

To overtake Convex Finance (CVX) just above it, USAT would need to grow its market cap by about 0.1%; it is 1.1% larger than BTSE Token (BTSE) just below. Its market cap is 0.01% of Bitcoin's.
