How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is BTSE Token (BTSE)?
BTSE Token is the utility token of the BTSE cryptocurrency exchange, a platform founded in 2018. The token launched on 5 March 2020 and was the first exchange token issued on the Liquid Network, a Bitcoin sidechain built for fast settlement and confidential transactions. Its value to holders is tied to the BTSE platform. The exchange offers spot and derivatives markets, and the token is the main way the platform shares its fee economics with regular users.
What BTSE is used for
The token is designed to give users benefits on the exchange.
- Trading-fee discounts when fees are paid with BTSE.
- Participation in rewards and special programmes run by the exchange.
- Access to certain platform services that the exchange links to token holdings.
Unlike a coin that secures its own network, BTSE does not validate transactions or pay staking rewards by design. Its function is commercial and depends on exchange policy. The scale of discounts and rewards is determined by BTSE and may change, so check the current terms on the exchange.
BTSE supply and token design
BTSE has a maximum supply of 200,000,000 tokens. The 2020 token sale materials described a plan to use 30% of the platform's revenue to buy back and burn tokens until 100 million of the 200 million tokens had been destroyed. That was a stated plan, so the pace and amount of burning depend on what the exchange has actually carried out. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.
The token was created on the Liquid Network and can be checked there through the Blockstream explorer. Always confirm the asset identifier from the official token page rather than from a search result or a message from a stranger.
Official information is on btse.com.
What to check before using BTSE
- Exchange dependence: the token's utility relies on BTSE continuing to operate and to offer benefits to holders.
- Burn commitments: a buyback plan from a 2020 sale deck is not a guarantee of future burns.
- Changing terms: discounts and rewards are set by the exchange and can be altered at any time.
- Liquidity: trading venues for BTSE are limited, so large orders can move the price.
- Regional rules: exchange services are restricted in some countries, so confirm that you may use the platform where you live.

BTSE Token market analysis
With a market capitalisation of $178.24 million, BTSE Token (BTSE) is classed as a small-cap asset and ranks #195 of 1,340 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 85.4% of them. It accounts for roughly under 0.01% of the combined tracked market value. Small-cap assets can move quickly on news or exchange listings, and liquidity can thin out fast in sell-offs.
Over the last 24 hours roughly $242.9 thousand of BTSE changed hands, equal to 0.14% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 35.2% of tracked assets. Trading activity is very low relative to market cap, which usually points to poor liquidity. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 9% of tracked assets.
Price action: BTSE moved −2.66% in 24 hours and +0.89% over 7 days. It underperformed Bitcoin by 0.45 percentage points over 24 hours but outperformed it by 5.02 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (behind by 0.38 points on the day and ahead by 7.10 points on the week), it has been a relative strength in recent sessions.
To overtake Maple Finance (SYRUP) just above it, BTSE Token would need to grow its market cap by about 0.4%; it is 0.3% larger than Akash Network (AKT) just below. Its market cap is 0.01% of Bitcoin's.
