ⓘ Circulating · Total supply · Max supply
Circulating supply: coins currently available to trade, as reported by the data provider.
Total supply: coins created so far, minus any burned. It includes locked or not-yet-released coins.
Max supply: the hard cap on coins that can ever exist. Shown as “No max supply” when the protocol sets no cap.
CryptoWave Health score
Five measurable signals. Each ring segment’s length is its weight; how full it is shows the score.
Volume is 1.08% of market cap. Thin trading; small orders can move the price.
$874.77M market cap, rank #82. Bigger is harder to push around.
97% of the maximum supply circulates. Little dilution ahead.
84.8% below its all-time high of $0.2074.
Largest recent swing: 4.75% a day. Moderate.
Describes market structure today. Not a price forecast and not investment advice.
How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is Kaspa (KAS)?
Kaspa is a proof-of-work cryptocurrency that organizes blocks as a directed acyclic graph, called a blockDAG, instead of a single chain. Rather than discarding blocks that are produced at the same time, the network accepts them in parallel and orders them using a protocol called GHOSTDAG, which comes from the research of Yonatan Sompolinsky and Aviv Zohar. Miners use the kHeavyHash algorithm.
The project says it was a fair launch with no premine and no hidden allocation, and publishes a genesis proof so the claim can be checked. Kaspa launched on 7 November 2021. A fair launch means miners could begin from the first block on equal terms, with no coins set aside for insiders in advance.
What KAS is used for
KAS is the coin used for payments on the network and is paid to miners as block rewards. The design aims to keep the security model of proof of work while confirming payments faster than traditional single-chain designs, which produce one block at a time and discard competing ones. The reference node software has been rewritten in Rust (rusty-kaspa), and the Crescendo hard fork on 5 May 2025 moved the network from one block per second to ten blocks per second. Wallets, explorers and other tools have also been built on the network by the community.
KAS supply and token design
Kaspa follows a fixed emission curve. An initial phase paid a constant reward per block, followed by a gradual decline in which the reward falls each month by a constant factor, which works out to a halving roughly once a year. The maximum supply is about 28.7 billion KAS. Because most of the maximum is already mined, newly issued coins make up a shrinking share each year. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.
Official information is on kaspa.org.
What to check before using KAS
- Mining and security: proof-of-work security depends on miner participation, and faster blocks put more demand on node hardware and bandwidth.
- Evolving software: the network has changed significantly, including a hard fork in 2025, so wallets and exchanges must stay up to date.
- Ecosystem maturity: smart-contract style features and tokens built around the chain are newer and carry additional contract risk.
- Mining economics: as block rewards decline, miner income depends more on transaction fees and the coin's market price.
- Volatility: mid-sized proof-of-work coins can move sharply with liquidity.

Kaspa market analysis
With a market capitalisation of $874.77 million, Kaspa (KAS) is classed as a small-cap asset and ranks #82 of 1,340 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 93.9% of them. It accounts for roughly 0.03% of the combined tracked market value. Small-cap assets can move quickly on news or exchange listings, and liquidity can thin out fast in sell-offs.
Over the last 24 hours roughly $9.48 million of KAS changed hands, equal to 1.08% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 87.3% of tracked assets. That is a quiet level of turnover, so large orders may meet limited depth. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 24% of tracked assets.
Price action: KAS moved −4.75% in 24 hours and −10.05% over 7 days. It underperformed Bitcoin by 2.54 percentage points over 24 hours and by 5.92 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (behind by 2.47 points on the day and behind by 3.84 points on the week), it has been a relative laggard in recent sessions.
To overtake Open USD (OUSD) just above it, Kaspa would need to grow its market cap by about 0.6%; it is 1.1% larger than Pi Network (PI) just below. Its market cap is 0.06% of Bitcoin's.
