ⓘ Circulating · Total supply · Max supply
Circulating supply: coins currently available to trade, as reported by the data provider.
Total supply: coins created so far, minus any burned. It includes locked or not-yet-released coins.
Max supply: the hard cap on coins that can ever exist. Shown as “No max supply” when the protocol sets no cap.
CryptoWave Health score
Five measurable signals. Each ring segment’s length is its weight; how full it is shows the score.
Volume is 8.16% of market cap. Trades easily.
$684.43M market cap, rank #93. Bigger is harder to push around.
40% of the maximum supply circulates. Big unlocks could dilute holders.
77.1% below its all-time high of $7.47.
Largest recent swing: 4.92% a day. Moderate.
Describes market structure today. Not a price forecast and not investment advice.
How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is LayerZero (ZRO)?
LayerZero is an omnichain messaging protocol that lets applications on different blockchains send data and instructions to each other. It was built by LayerZero Labs, and ZRO is its governance token, managed through the LayerZero Foundation. ZRO tokens became claimable by eligible users in an airdrop that opened on 20 June 2024.
At the centre of the protocol is an Endpoint, an immutable and permissionless smart contract deployed on each supported chain. Every cross-chain message passes through it. The Endpoint tracks ordered channels between a sender and a receiver, stores verified payload hashes and helps ensure each message is delivered once.
How LayerZero works
Verification is left to the application. Each app chooses which Decentralized Verifier Networks (DVNs) must confirm its messages, using a configurable X-of-Y-of-N threshold, and which Executor delivers them. This design lets developers trade off cost, speed and security for their own use case instead of relying on a single fixed validator set.
- Token bridges and omnichain tokens that move value between networks.
- Applications that read or write state on several chains from one contract.
- Multi-step workflows that compose follow-up messages after a first delivery.
ZRO supply and token design
ZRO has a fixed total supply of 1 billion tokens. The token is used for governance. The protocol's fee switch is decided by ZRO holders in on-chain referenda held every six months. If activated, the protocol fee would equal the DVN and Executor fees charged for each message, with proceeds used to buy back and burn ZRO. The switch only turns on if a vote approves it.
Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page. ZRO is deployed as the same token address on several networks, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Base, Polygon, Optimism and Avalanche. The Ethereum contract is 0x6985884c4392d348587b19cb9eaaf157f13271cd, and copycat tokens with similar names exist, so always check the address.
Official information is on layerzero.network.
What to check before using ZRO
- Token unlocks: a large share of the supply is subject to vesting schedules, so future releases can add selling pressure.
- Governance outcomes: the fee switch and any buyback depend on referenda that need enough participation to pass.
- Security configuration: a LayerZero app is only as safe as the DVNs and Executor its developers choose, so a weak setup can expose users.
- Smart-contract and bridge risk: omnichain apps combine contracts on many chains, and an exploit on one can affect the others.
- Fake tokens: verify the contract address before trading or claiming anything.

LayerZero market analysis
With a market capitalisation of $684.43 million, LayerZero (ZRO) is classed as a small-cap asset and ranks #93 of 1,340 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 93.1% of them. It accounts for roughly 0.03% of the combined tracked market value. Small-cap assets can move quickly on news or exchange listings, and liquidity can thin out fast in sell-offs.
Over the last 24 hours roughly $55.83 million of ZRO changed hands, equal to 8.16% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 95.9% of tracked assets. That is an active level of turnover for an asset of this size. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 65% of tracked assets.
Price action: ZRO moved −4.92% in 24 hours and +5.82% over 7 days. It underperformed Bitcoin by 2.71 percentage points over 24 hours but outperformed it by 9.95 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (behind by 2.64 points on the day and ahead by 12.04 points on the week), it has been a relative strength in recent sessions.
To overtake Injective (INJ) just above it, LayerZero would need to grow its market cap by about 0.8%; it is 2.0% larger than Midnight (NIGHT) just below. Its market cap is 0.04% of Bitcoin's.
