ⓘ Circulating · Total supply · Max supply
Circulating supply: coins currently available to trade, as reported by the data provider.
Total supply: coins created so far, minus any burned. It includes locked or not-yet-released coins.
Max supply: the hard cap on coins that can ever exist. Shown as “No max supply” when the protocol sets no cap.
CryptoWave Health score
Five measurable signals. Each ring segment’s length is its weight; how full it is shows the score.
Volume is 2.05% of market cap. Normal turnover for its size.
$82.02M market cap, rank #285. Bigger is harder to push around.
81% of the maximum supply circulates. Little dilution ahead.
91.0% below its all-time high of $91.07.
Largest recent swing: 3.02% a day. Moderate.

How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is GMX (GMX)?
GMX is a decentralized exchange for spot swaps and perpetual futures. Traders open leveraged positions on crypto assets directly from their own wallets, without an account or custodian. The protocol launched in September 2021 on Arbitrum and later expanded to Avalanche. Its documentation also lists other networks, including MegaETH, and a GMX Account that lets users trade from other chains.
The GMX token is the protocol's utility and governance asset, and it is separate from the liquidity tokens that fund trading.
How GMX works
GMX does not use an order book. Trades execute against pooled liquidity, and prices come from Chainlink Data Streams oracles rather than from the pool itself. This design is meant to avoid price impact from pool size and to reduce liquidation at momentary spreads.
- GM and GLV pools: liquidity providers deposit assets into market pools and earn 63% of the fees from trading, liquidations, borrowing and swaps on Arbitrum and Avalanche. They also take the other side of traders' positions, so they carry trading risk.
- Markets: the protocol lists over 100 markets, including crypto assets and some traditional markets such as gold, oil and US equities.
- GMX token: holders get voting power in governance. A share of fees, 27%, is used to buy back GMX, and the buybacks are distributed through a mechanism approved by a DAO vote.
GMX supply and token design
GMX has a forecast maximum supply of 13.25 million tokens, and minting beyond that would need a governance vote by token holders. The initial supply was allocated in these parts: 6 million for the XVIX and Gambit migration, 2 million paired with ETH on Uniswap, 2 million for escrowed GMX vesting, 2 million for the treasury, 1 million for integration incentives and community developers, and 250,000 for contributors vested over two years.
The token is deployed on Arbitrum and Avalanche, and also on Solana. It can be moved between Arbitrum and Avalanche through Stargate. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.

What to check before using GMX
- Leveraged perpetuals can lose the full margin quickly. Liquidation rules and funding rates differ from spot trading.
- Liquidity providers face losses when traders profit, and pool performance can vary widely between markets.
- Staking rewards and buyback mechanics have been changed by DAO vote before, so check the current rules in the official docs.
- Oracle and smart-contract risk apply. Price feed failures or contract bugs can affect all pools.
- Use only links from the official site, because fake GMX interfaces and token approvals are common attack routes.

GMX market analysis
With a market capitalisation of $82.02 million, GMX (GMX) is classed as a micro-cap asset and ranks #285 of 402 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 29.1% of them. It accounts for roughly under 0.01% of the combined tracked market value. Micro-cap assets are thinly traded in most cases: a modest order can move the price and spreads are often wide.
Over the last 24 hours roughly $1.68 million of GMX changed hands, equal to 2.05% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 38.6% of tracked assets. That is a moderate, fairly typical level of turnover. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 49% of tracked assets.
Price action: GMX moved +3.02% in 24 hours and +1.88% over 7 days. It outperformed Bitcoin by 4.70 percentage points over 24 hours and by 6.13 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (ahead by 4.58 points on the day and ahead by 6.77 points on the week), it has been a relative strength in recent sessions.
To overtake JPY Coin (JPYC) just above it, GMX would need to grow its market cap by about 0.1%; it is 0.2% larger than STONK (STONK) just below. Its market cap is under 0.01% of Bitcoin's.
