ⓘ Circulating · Total supply · Max supply
Circulating supply: coins currently available to trade, as reported by the data provider.
Total supply: coins created so far, minus any burned. It includes locked or not-yet-released coins.
Max supply: the hard cap on coins that can ever exist. Shown as “No max supply” when the protocol sets no cap.
CryptoWave Health score
Five measurable signals. Each ring segment’s length is its weight; how full it is shows the score.
Volume is 0.72% of market cap. Thin trading; small orders can move the price.
$1.22B market cap, rank #68. Bigger is harder to push around.
35% of the maximum supply circulates. Big unlocks could dilute holders.
79.3% below its all-time high of $8.45.
Largest recent swing: 2.75% a day. Moderate.
Describes market structure today. Not a price forecast and not investment advice.
How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is Bitget Token (BGB)?
Bitget Token (BGB) is the native token of the Bitget crypto exchange and its wallet ecosystem, and since 2025 it is also the gas and governance token of Morph, an EVM-compatible Layer 2 network. It began as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, and Bitget Wallet's own token, BWB, was merged into it in December 2024.
What BGB is used for
Bitget's whitepaper describes several uses:
- Fee discount: paying spot trading fees in BGB gives a 20% discount.
- Token programs: BGB staking is used for Launchpool and PoolX rewards, and BGB can be used to subscribe to early-stage projects in Bitget Launchpad.
- Gas: BGB can pay gas fees across chains in Bitget Wallet.
- Morph: BGB serves as gas and governance token on the Morph network.
BGB supply and token design
The Ethereum contract was created with a maximum supply of 2 billion BGB. On 30 December 2024 Bitget burned 800 million BGB, reported as 40% of supply, mostly from core-team holdings, which brought total supply to 1.2 billion. Bitget also committed to quarterly buy-and-burns funded by 20% of profits from its exchange and wallet. When BWB was merged into BGB at a rate of about 11.68 BWB per BGB, Bitget said total BGB supply was unchanged.
In September 2025 Bitget transferred 440 million BGB to the Morph Foundation. Half, 220 million, was to be burned at once and the remainder locked and released at 2% per month. Bitget said the earlier quarterly burns would pause in favor of an activity-linked burn on Morph that runs until supply reaches 100 million. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.
The Ethereum contract is 0x54D2252757e1672EEaD234D27B1270728fF90581. BGB also exists on Morph, so check the network when transferring.
Official information is on bitget.com.
What to check before using BGB
- Exchange dependence: BGB's utility depends on the Bitget platform, and policy changes by the company can change the token's role.
- Changing burn rules: burn mechanics have changed more than once, so past burns do not predict future supply.
- Locked-token releases: the locked share held by the Morph Foundation is released on a schedule, which adds to tradable supply over time.
- Two networks: BGB lives on Ethereum and Morph. Use the right network and contract.
- Jurisdiction limits: Bitget services are unavailable in some regions, which can limit how you can use the token.

Bitget Token market analysis
With a market capitalisation of $1.22 billion, Bitget Token (BGB) is classed as a mid-cap asset and ranks #68 of 406 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 83.3% of them. It accounts for roughly 0.05% of the combined tracked market value. Mid-cap assets sit between the established majors and the speculative long tail, so both growth and drawdowns can be sharp.
Over the last 24 hours roughly $8.83 million of BGB changed hands, equal to 0.72% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 65.0% of tracked assets. That is a quiet level of turnover, so large orders may meet limited depth. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 33% of tracked assets.
Price action: BGB moved −2.35% in 24 hours and −7.16% over 7 days. It underperformed Bitcoin by 0.17 percentage points over 24 hours and by 3.57 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (behind by 0.36 points on the day and behind by 2.67 points on the week), it has been a relative laggard in recent sessions.
To overtake USDGO (USDGO) just above it, Bitget Token would need to grow its market cap by about 0.5%; it is 7.7% larger than JUST (JST) just below. Its market cap is 0.08% of Bitcoin's.
