How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is Usual USD (USD0)?
Usual USD is a dollar stablecoin issued through Usual, a protocol founded in 2022 in France. USD0 is designed to stay at one US dollar and is backed by short-dated US Treasury bills and similar real-world assets rather than bank deposits. Usual presents it as a stablecoin whose collateral can be verified on chain and that can be used for payments, trading and as collateral in decentralized finance.
How USD0 works
Usual states that USD0 is fully backed by US Treasury bills. The primary collateral is Hashnote's USYC, a tokenized money market fund, with other tokenized Treasury products from providers such as M0 and Superstate also used. Secured repo and reverse repo are part of the strategy, and some cash can sit at banking partners. The Usual Collateral Bridge Infrastructure connects institutional collateral providers, which are permissioned, with users who can interact permissionlessly.
- Minting and redeeming: USD0 is created against eligible collateral and can be redeemed back into it through the protocol's contracts, and the second step may involve the collateral issuer.
- USD0++: a locked, bond-style version of USD0 that is separate from USD0 itself.
- USUAL token: the governance and ownership token, which receives the protocol's revenue rights. A revenue switch was activated in January 2025.
USD0 supply and token design
USD0 has no fixed cap, because the supply expands and shrinks with minting and redemption. It exists on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base and BNB Chain. The Ethereum contract is 0x73a15fed60bf67631dc6cd7bc5b6e8da8190acf5, and since many look-alike tokens exist, compare any address with the one on the official site.
Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.
Official information is on usual.money.
What to check before using USD0
- USD0 is not a bank deposit and carries no government guarantee. Its stability depends on the collateral and on redemption working as designed.
- USD0++ is a different asset. In January 2025 it traded below par after Usual changed the terms for exiting early, so do not treat it as equal to USD0.
- Collateral comes from third-party issuers, so issuer, custodian and counterparty risk is present.
- Redemption may need eligibility checks and extra settlement time with the collateral partner, so a market price can drift from one dollar.
- Smart contract risk applies even though the protocol reports many audits.

Usual USD market analysis
With a market capitalisation of $540.98 million, Usual USD (USD0) is classed as a small-cap asset and ranks #98 of 402 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 75.6% of them. It accounts for roughly 0.02% of the combined tracked market value. Small-cap assets can move quickly on news or exchange listings, and liquidity can thin out fast in sell-offs.
Over the last 24 hours roughly $3.35 million of USD0 changed hands, equal to 0.62% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 47.8% of tracked assets. That is a quiet level of turnover, so large orders may meet limited depth. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 31% of tracked assets.
Price action: USD0 moved −0.01% in 24 hours and +0.08% over 7 days. It outperformed Bitcoin by 1.67 percentage points over 24 hours and by 4.33 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (ahead by 1.55 points on the day and ahead by 4.98 points on the week), it has been a relative strength in recent sessions.
To overtake Janus Henderson Anemoy AAA CLO Fund (JAAA) just above it, Usual USD would need to grow its market cap by about 4.4%; it is 0.3% larger than Aptos (APT) just below. Its market cap is 0.04% of Bitcoin's.
