Circulating supply: coins currently available to trade, as reported by the data provider.

Total supply: coins created so far, minus any burned. It includes locked or not-yet-released coins.

Max supply: the hard cap on coins that can ever exist. Shown as “No max supply” when the protocol sets no cap.

How this score is calculated

A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:

  • Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
  • Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
  • Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
  • Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
  • Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).

Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.

Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

About Flare

What is Flare (FLR)?

Flare is an EVM-compatible layer 1 blockchain built around bringing external data on chain. Its goal is to give smart contracts reliable access to prices, events on other blockchains and real-world data without relying on a separate oracle service. The whitepaper first appeared in 2020 under the name Spark, the mainnet genesis took place in July 2022, and the FLR token distribution event followed in January 2023. A canary network called Songbird, launched in 2021, was used to test features first.

How Flare works

The data services are built into the protocol rather than added as outside contracts:

  • Flare Time Series Oracle (FTSO): a decentralized price oracle that provides price feeds to applications on Flare.
  • Flare Data Connector (FDC): lets applications access events from other blockchains and data from external web APIs.
  • FAssets: a system for representing assets from chains without smart contracts, such as XRP, Bitcoin and Dogecoin, on Flare so they can be used in decentralized finance.

Because Flare is EVM compatible, existing Solidity contracts and wallets can usually be adapted with little change, and the network also keeps a test environment called Coston2 for developers. Developers can use standard EVM tools such as Hardhat and Foundry. Both the oracle and the data connector sit within the core Flare Systems Protocol, which means they use the network's own security.

FLR supply and token design

The genesis supply was 100 billion FLR. A share of it was distributed to XRP holders based on a snapshot taken in December 2020, as part of the January 2023 distribution. FLR has no fixed maximum supply, and new tokens are issued over time at a limited rate as rewards for the network's services.

Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.

Official information is on flare.network.

What to check before using FLR

  • FLR has no hard cap, so continuing issuance can dilute holders who do not participate in network rewards.
  • Oracle and data-connector accuracy matter, since applications that rely on them inherit any failure.
  • FAssets carry bridge-style and collateral risks, so understand how a wrapped asset is backed before using it.
  • Flare competes with other oracle networks and smart contract platforms, which affects how much activity it attracts.
  • FLR can be wrapped, delegated or staked, so check which form an app or exchange expects before moving funds.

Flare market analysis

With a market capitalisation of $523.58 million, Flare (FLR) is classed as a small-cap asset and ranks #101 of 406 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 75.1% of them. It accounts for roughly 0.02% of the combined tracked market value. Small-cap assets can move quickly on news or exchange listings, and liquidity can thin out fast in sell-offs.

Over the last 24 hours roughly $1.91 million of FLR changed hands, equal to 0.36% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 41.1% of tracked assets. That is a quiet level of turnover, so large orders may meet limited depth. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 29% of tracked assets.

Price action: FLR moved −1.36% in 24 hours and −1.32% over 7 days. It outperformed Bitcoin by 0.82 percentage points over 24 hours and by 2.27 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (ahead by 0.64 points on the day and ahead by 3.18 points on the week), it has been a relative strength in recent sessions.

To overtake 币安人生 (BinanceLife) (币安人生) just above it, Flare would need to grow its market cap by about 0.7%; it is 3.3% larger than Pearl (PEARL) just below. Its market cap is 0.03% of Bitcoin's.
