CryptoWave Health score
Five measurable signals. Each ring segment’s length is its weight; how full it is shows the score.
Volume is 0.13% of market cap. Thin trading; small orders can move the price.
$52.29M market cap, rank #329. Bigger is harder to push around.
100% of the total supply circulates. Little dilution ahead.
1.9% below its all-time high of $1.02.
Largest recent swing: 0.06% a day. Calm.

How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is USDu (USDU)?
USDu is a dollar-denominated stablecoin issued by Unitas, a yield protocol built around delta-neutral strategies. It is designed to hold a soft peg to 1 US dollar and is described by its issuer as overcollateralized. USDu v1 launched on Solana in the third quarter of 2025 and is also available on BNB Smart Chain.
Unlike fiat-backed stablecoins such as USDC, USDu is not backed by bank deposits or Treasury bills. It is a synthetic dollar: its stability depends on how the protocol hedges the collateral it holds.
How USDu works
When a user mints USDu, the protocol takes in collateral as spot holdings and opens a short perpetual futures position that offsets the collateral's price exposure. Because the long and short sides cancel out, the net value stays close to a dollar. Redeeming reverses the process: USDu is burned, the perpetual positions are closed and collateral is returned.
- Minting: the protocol documents list no minting fee.
- Redemption: a fee of between 0% and 0.5% applies, depending on the network and any active campaign.
- Staking: staking USDu mints sUSDu, whose exchange rate against USDu rises as yield is distributed. Unstaking burns sUSDu and starts a 7-day cooldown before the USDu can be withdrawn.
- Access controls: the protocol lists optional KYC gating and DAO-controlled lists as regulatory safeguards.
USDU supply and token design
USDu has no fixed cap. New tokens are created when users mint against collateral and removed when they redeem, so supply follows demand. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.
The Solana token address is 9ckR7pPPvyPadACDTzLwK2ZAEeUJ3qGSnzPs8bVaHrSy. Check any address against the official site before swapping, because lookalike tokens are common on Solana.
Official information is on unitas.so.
What to check before using USDU
- Peg risk: the project itself warns that a peg deviation or negative yield could occur if perpetual futures trading volume collapses.
- Venue risk: the hedge relies on trading venues, so a venue failure or sharp funding-rate swing can hurt the collateral.
- Smart contract risk: bugs or exploits in the minting, staking or bridging contracts could cause losses.
- No deposit protection: USDu is not a bank deposit and is not government-insured.
- Regulatory and access risk: KYC gating and list controls can limit who can mint or redeem, and rules for yield-bearing stablecoins may change.

USDu market analysis
With a market capitalisation of $52.29 million, USDu (USDU) is classed as a micro-cap asset and ranks #425 of 406 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 0.0% of them. It accounts for roughly under 0.01% of the combined tracked market value. Micro-cap assets are thinly traded in most cases: a modest order can move the price and spreads are often wide.
Over the last 24 hours roughly $65.4 thousand of USDU changed hands, equal to 0.13% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 0.0% of tracked assets. Trading activity is very low relative to market cap, which usually points to poor liquidity. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 21% of tracked assets.
Price action: USDU moved −0.03% in 24 hours and −0.03% over 7 days. It outperformed Bitcoin by 2.15 percentage points over 24 hours and by 3.56 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (ahead by 1.97 points on the day and ahead by 4.47 points on the week), it has been a relative strength in recent sessions.
To overtake Strategy Stretch Preferred (Ondo Tokenized) (STRCON) just above it, USDu would need to grow its market cap by about 0.0%; it is 0.6% larger than Turbo (TURBO) just below. Its market cap is under 0.01% of Bitcoin's.
