ⓘ Circulating · Total supply · Max supply
Circulating supply: coins currently available to trade, as reported by the data provider.
Total supply: coins created so far, minus any burned. It includes locked or not-yet-released coins.
Max supply: the hard cap on coins that can ever exist. Shown as “No max supply” when the protocol sets no cap.
CryptoWave Health score
Five measurable signals. Each ring segment’s length is its weight; how full it is shows the score.
Volume is 1.87% of market cap. Normal turnover for its size.
$148.60M market cap, rank #220. Bigger is harder to push around.
100% of the maximum supply circulates. Little dilution ahead.
99.1% below its all-time high of $15.72.
Largest recent swing: 6.94% a day. Volatile.
Describes market structure today. Not a price forecast and not investment advice.
How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is Theta Network (THETA)?
Theta Network is a blockchain for video delivery and decentralised computing. It was co-founded by Mitch Liu and Jieyi Long, and its mainnet went live in March 2019. The THETA token was first issued as an ERC-20 token in December 2017 and later swapped 1:1 for native tokens.
Theta uses a proof-of-stake design with multi-level Byzantine fault tolerance. A small set of validators produces blocks, and community Guardian nodes check their work. Mainnet 2.0, released in May 2020, added the Guardian layer.
What THETA is used for
Theta runs two tokens with separate roles:
- THETA: the staking and governance token. Validators and Guardian nodes stake it to secure the chain.
- TFUEL: the operational token used for gas fees, micropayments and rewards, which stakers of THETA earn.
- EdgeCloud: Theta's GPU and compute network for AI, media and rendering work, where providers contribute hardware.
Edge nodes that relay video and share computing resources are rewarded in TFUEL.
Theta describes its technology as a decentralised GPU cloud for AI, media and rendering. The original idea was to let viewers share spare bandwidth to deliver video, with relays paid in TFUEL, and the network has since added general compute. Validators and Guardian nodes sit at different layers: validators propose and vote on blocks, while Guardian nodes help finalise them and watch for bad behaviour. Tokens are staked to take part, and block rewards are paid in TFUEL, which keeps THETA itself fixed in number.
THETA supply and token design
THETA has a fixed supply of 1 billion tokens with no inflation. New issuance on the network happens in TFUEL, not THETA. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.
Because THETA is the staking token, holding it does not by itself create network activity. Activity and fees show up mostly in TFUEL.
Official information is on thetatoken.org.
What to check before using THETA
- Two-token complexity: THETA and TFUEL have different supply rules, so check which one you are looking at.
- Competition: decentralised video and GPU markets compete with large cloud and streaming companies.
- Staking terms: validator and Guardian roles have requirements and can change through upgrades.
- Concentration: block production relies on a limited validator set.
- Roadmap risk: AI and EdgeCloud plans depend on adoption by developers and customers.

Theta Network market analysis
With a market capitalisation of $148.60 million, Theta Network (THETA) is classed as a small-cap asset and ranks #221 of 1,340 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 83.5% of them. It accounts for roughly under 0.01% of the combined tracked market value. Small-cap assets can move quickly on news or exchange listings, and liquidity can thin out fast in sell-offs.
Over the last 24 hours roughly $2.78 million of THETA changed hands, equal to 1.87% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 71.8% of tracked assets. That is a quiet level of turnover, so large orders may meet limited depth. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 32% of tracked assets.
Price action: THETA moved −5.61% in 24 hours and −18.05% over 7 days. It underperformed Bitcoin by 3.40 percentage points over 24 hours and by 13.92 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (behind by 3.34 points on the day and behind by 11.84 points on the week), it has been a relative laggard in recent sessions.
To overtake GUSD (GUSD) just above it, Theta Network would need to grow its market cap by about 0.5%; it is 1.9% larger than Stargate Finance (STG) just below. Its market cap is under 0.01% of Bitcoin's.
