How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is GUSD?
GUSD is a dollar-denominated token launched by the exchange Gate in August 2025. Gate describes it as an investment certificate backed by real-world assets such as U.S. Treasury bonds, rather than a conventional stablecoin. It should not be confused with Gemini Dollar, which also used the GUSD ticker.
How GUSD works
Users can mint GUSD at a 1:1 ratio with USDT or USDC through the Staking page on Gate, or swap USDT for GUSD on the spot market. Interest earned by the underlying assets is not paid out daily. It is included in the redemption amount, which is paid in USDC. Gate's own example is that minting 100 USDT and redeeming after a 20% accumulated return gives 120 USDC; this is an illustration, not a guaranteed rate.
- Holding dollar-value assets with an RWA-based return on Gate.
- Serving as collateral or a staking asset in some Gate products, which Gate says are being rolled out gradually.
- Moving between USDT, USDC and GUSD within Gate's platform.
GUSD supply and token design
GUSD has no fixed cap because it is minted against deposits and redeemed against the underlying assets. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page. Gate states that GUSD is fully backed and says it plans to publish reserve proofs and details of its custodian relationships gradually. It has not named the custodians in its launch announcement. Gate also says it may restrict services in specific jurisdictions, and the terms are in its user agreement.
Gate's materials say that more GUSD uses, including lending and staking pools with third-party projects, are being added in stages. These features sit inside Gate's platform, so access depends on holding an account there and on the services available in the user's region. The token is best understood as a product of one exchange rather than as a neutral, widely issued stablecoin, and its terms are set by Gate's user agreement.
Official information is on gate.com.
What to check before using GUSD
- Issuer concentration. Mint, redemption and backing all depend on Gate.
- Unverified reserves. Check whether reserve proofs and custodians have been published before relying on the backing.
- Not a plain stablecoin. Accrued return is paid on redemption, so the token's value can differ from one dollar.
- Jurisdiction limits. Gate may restrict or prohibit services in some regions.
- Depeg and liquidity risk. Secondary-market prices can diverge from redemption value, especially in stress.

GUSD market analysis
With a market capitalisation of $149.37 million, GUSD (GUSD) is classed as a small-cap asset and ranks #220 of 1,341 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 83.6% of them. It accounts for roughly under 0.01% of the combined tracked market value. Small-cap assets can move quickly on news or exchange listings, and liquidity can thin out fast in sell-offs.
Over the last 24 hours roughly $171.7 thousand of GUSD changed hands, equal to 0.11% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 30.7% of tracked assets. Trading activity is very low relative to market cap, which usually points to poor liquidity. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 9% of tracked assets.
Price action: GUSD moved −0.02% in 24 hours and −0.01% over 7 days. It outperformed Bitcoin by 2.16 percentage points over 24 hours and by 3.85 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (ahead by 2.22 points on the day and ahead by 6.20 points on the week), it has been a relative strength in recent sessions.
To overtake SwissBorg (BORG) just above it, GUSD would need to grow its market cap by about 1.0%; it is 0.7% larger than Theta Network (THETA) just below. Its market cap is under 0.01% of Bitcoin's.
