What is Securitize Tokenized AAA CLO Fund (STAC)?
STAC is a tokenized fund that gives eligible investors onchain exposure to AAA-rated collateralized loan obligations, usually shortened to CLOs. It was launched by Securitize, a tokenization platform, with services from BNY, and was announced on 29 October 2025. Fund shares are issued as digital tokens on Ethereum. STAC is a regulated-style investment product, not a payment coin or a typical crypto token.
How STAC works
The fund invests mainly in US dollar-denominated, AAA-rated CLO tranches bought in primary and secondary markets, without using leverage. CLOs are pools of corporate loans that are sliced into tranches by risk, and AAA tranches sit at the top of the repayment order. Their payments typically float with short-term interest rates.

Grove announced a planned $100 million anchor allocation at launch, subject to its governance approval. Securitize has also extended the fund to Solana as a trading instrument, and Ethena Labs has said it plans to allocate to it.
STAC supply and token design
STAC has no fixed supply cap. Shares are created when eligible investors subscribe and removed when they redeem, so supply follows the fund's size. The Ethereum token contract is 0x51c2d74017390cbbd30550179a16a1c28f7210fc. Because transfers are restricted to approved investors, a token with this name sold elsewhere should be treated with suspicion.
