ⓘ Circulating · Total supply · Max supply
Circulating supply: coins currently available to trade, as reported by the data provider.
Total supply: coins created so far, minus any burned. It includes locked or not-yet-released coins.
Max supply: the hard cap on coins that can ever exist. Shown as “No max supply” when the protocol sets no cap.
CryptoWave Health score
Five measurable signals. Each ring segment’s length is its weight; how full it is shows the score.
Volume is 1.71% of market cap. Normal turnover for its size.
$111.11M market cap, rank #246. Bigger is harder to push around.
35% of the maximum supply circulates. Big unlocks could dilute holders.
79.4% below its all-time high of $1.54.
Largest recent swing: 6.19% a day. Volatile.
Describes market structure today. Not a price forecast and not investment advice.
How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is edgeX (EDGE)?
edgeX is a decentralized exchange for perpetual futures, covering crypto, stocks and commodities, with spot markets alongside. It launched publicly in November 2024 and is incubated by Amber Group, with Circle Ventures listed among its backers. EDGE is the project's native token. Its token generation event took place on March 31, 2026.
Airdrop claims and pre-market trading opened ahead of the token launch. Users keep control of their own keys. Orders are matched off-chain for speed, and trades settle on-chain.
How edgeX works
edgeX is a hybrid exchange. A central order book matches trades off-chain, while settlement and custody remain on-chain, and USDC is the main collateral and settlement asset. The platform's first version was built on StarkWare's StarkEx technology, and the team has been moving toward its own chain, called EDGE Chain, which settles to Ethereum through Arbitrum.
What the platform offers:
- Perpetual futures on more than 100 pairs, with leverage varying by asset.
- Spot trading and a passive market-making vault that takes the other side of trades, with variable returns.
- Web, iOS and Android access.
The site says the first and second generation smart contracts have had third-party audits, with reports published on GitHub.
EDGE supply and token design
The maximum supply is fixed at 1 billion EDGE. Project materials give this distribution:
- Early users: 30%, unlocked at genesis.
- Future reserve: 30%, locked for 18 months, then vesting monthly over 24 months.
- Core contributors: 25%, locked for 24 months, then vesting monthly over 24 months.
- Liquidity, ecosystem and community, and foundation: 5% each, with the ecosystem and foundation shares locked for 12 months and then vesting over 24 months.
Project materials describe EDGE as the governance token for edgeX Improvement Proposals, with staking through validators and ecosystem incentives. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page. The token also exists as an ERC-20 on Ethereum.
Official information is on edgex.exchange.
What to check before using EDGE
- Leverage. Perpetual futures with high leverage can liquidate positions quickly. Understand margin and funding before trading.
- Scheduled unlocks. Large allocations vest gradually through the coming years, which adds token supply over time.
- Architecture changes. The move from StarkEx to EDGE Chain brings new code and new trust assumptions.
- Smart-contract and oracle risk. Settlement relies on contracts and price feeds that can fail.
- Operator reliance. Order matching happens off-chain, so fair execution depends on the platform operator.
- Regional availability. Derivatives trading is restricted in many jurisdictions. Check that the service is permitted where you live.

edgeX market analysis
With a market capitalisation of $111.11 million, edgeX (EDGE) is classed as a small-cap asset and ranks #246 of 402 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 38.8% of them. It accounts for roughly under 0.01% of the combined tracked market value. Small-cap assets can move quickly on news or exchange listings, and liquidity can thin out fast in sell-offs.
Over the last 24 hours roughly $1.90 million of EDGE changed hands, equal to 1.71% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 40.5% of tracked assets. That is a quiet level of turnover, so large orders may meet limited depth. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 45% of tracked assets.
Price action: EDGE moved −6.19% in 24 hours and −4.54% over 7 days. It underperformed Bitcoin by 4.51 percentage points over 24 hours and by 0.29 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (behind by 4.63 points on the day and ahead by 0.35 points on the week), it has been a relative laggard in recent sessions.
To overtake 1INCH (1INCH) just above it, edgeX would need to grow its market cap by about 0.5%; it is 0.1% larger than Rollbit Coin (RLB) just below. Its market cap is under 0.01% of Bitcoin's.
