ⓘ Circulating · Total supply · Max supply
Circulating supply: coins currently available to trade, as reported by the data provider.
Total supply: coins created so far, minus any burned. It includes locked or not-yet-released coins.
Max supply: the hard cap on coins that can ever exist. Shown as “No max supply” when the protocol sets no cap.
CryptoWave Health score
Five measurable signals. Each ring segment’s length is its weight; how full it is shows the score.
Volume is 2.01% of market cap. Normal turnover for its size.
$1.36B market cap, rank #66. Bigger is harder to push around.
100% of the total supply circulates. Little dilution ahead.
99.7% below its all-time high of $700.65.
Largest recent swing: 4.36% a day. Moderate.
Describes market structure today. Not a price forecast and not investment advice.
How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is Internet Computer (ICP)?
The Internet Computer is a blockchain network built by the DFINITY Foundation that aims to run software, data and web services directly on-chain, instead of only handling transfers and small smart contracts. The network launched in May 2021. ICP is its native token. Anyone can follow the network's open code on the dfinity/ic repository on GitHub.
How Internet Computer works
Applications on the network run in smart contracts that can serve web content and store data themselves. Capacity comes from subnets, which are groups of node machines operated by independent node providers. The network is administered by the Network Nervous System (NNS), an on-chain governance system that runs as a smart contract rather than being controlled by a foundation. Governance proposals can add subnets or upgrade the software that nodes run.
What ICP is used for
- Currency: ICP can be transferred between accounts and is supported by many exchanges.
- Compute fuel: ICP is converted into cycles, which pay for computation and storage. Developers charge their applications with cycles, so users do not pay a gas fee for each action, and the app runs until its cycles run out.
- Governance: ICP is staked in neurons, which vote on NNS proposals. Voting earns maturity, which can later be turned into new ICP.
- Node rewards: node providers who run the hardware are paid in ICP, set in constant-value terms.
ICP supply and token design
ICP has no fixed supply cap. New ICP is minted to reward node providers and governance participants, which pushes supply up. Converting ICP into cycles burns it, because the cycles are consumed by computation, which pushes supply down. The balance between the two changes with network usage. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.
The ICP ledger runs as a canister on the Internet Computer itself. Wrapped versions also exist on other chains, so confirm the network before transferring.
Official information is on internetcomputer.org.
What to check before using ICP
- Net inflation: supply is not capped, so check whether burning from cycles is keeping pace with newly minted rewards.
- Staking lock-ups: staking in neurons involves a dissolve delay, so staked ICP is not instantly liquid.
- Governance concentration: voting power follows staked ICP, so large neurons carry large influence over proposals.
- Bridged tokens: wrapped ICP on other networks is a different contract with its own bridge risk.
- Application risk: apps built on the network are separate projects with their own security and reliability.

Internet Computer market analysis
With a market capitalisation of $1.36 billion, Internet Computer (ICP) is classed as a mid-cap asset and ranks #66 of 1,341 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 95.1% of them. It accounts for roughly 0.05% of the combined tracked market value. Mid-cap assets sit between the established majors and the speculative long tail, so both growth and drawdowns can be sharp.
Over the last 24 hours roughly $27.23 million of ICP changed hands, equal to 2.01% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 93.8% of tracked assets. That is a moderate, fairly typical level of turnover. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 34% of tracked assets.
Price action: ICP moved −4.36% in 24 hours and −7.17% over 7 days. It underperformed Bitcoin by 2.18 percentage points over 24 hours and by 3.31 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (behind by 2.12 points on the day and behind by 0.96 points on the week), it has been a relative laggard in recent sessions.
To overtake Bitway (BTW) just above it, Internet Computer would need to grow its market cap by about 1.2%; it is 0.8% larger than Fantom (FTM) just below. Its market cap is 0.09% of Bitcoin's.

Internet Computer FAQ
What is Internet Computer (ICP)?
The Internet Computer is a blockchain network developed by the DFINITY Foundation that runs software and data on-chain. ICP is its native token, used for governance, compute and payments.
What is ICP used for?
ICP can be staked in neurons to vote on governance proposals, converted into cycles that pay for computation, and transferred as a currency. Node providers are also rewarded in ICP.
When did the Internet Computer launch?
The Internet Computer launched in May 2021, after several years of development led by the DFINITY Foundation.
How many ICP are there?
ICP has no fixed cap. New tokens are minted as rewards, while ICP converted into cycles is burned, so total supply changes with network activity.
