ⓘ Circulating · Total supply · Max supply
Circulating supply: coins currently available to trade, as reported by the data provider.
Total supply: coins created so far, minus any burned. It includes locked or not-yet-released coins.
Max supply: the hard cap on coins that can ever exist. Shown as “No max supply” when the protocol sets no cap.
CryptoWave Health score
Five measurable signals. Each ring segment’s length is its weight; how full it is shows the score.
Volume is 6.17% of market cap. Trades easily.
$42.92M market cap, rank #355. Bigger is harder to push around.
29% of the maximum supply circulates. Big unlocks could dilute holders.
64.1% below its all-time high of $0.0399.
Largest recent swing: 4.86% a day. Moderate.
Describes market structure today. Not a price forecast and not investment advice.
How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is Aztec (AZTEC)?
Aztec is a privacy-first Layer 2 zero-knowledge rollup on Ethereum. It lets developers build applications where transaction data can stay private, using proofs generated on the user's own device and a Rust-like language called Noir. The network describes itself as the first decentralized, privacy-preserving L2 on Ethereum, with sequencing, proving and governance built into the base protocol. AZTEC is the network's token, and it began trading after a token generation event on 12 February 2026. The project has been in development since 2017.
What AZTEC is used for
AZTEC has two main roles that are described publicly:
- Fees: users bridge AZTEC from Ethereum to the Aztec L2 to obtain Fee Juice, the network's gas. Applications can also cover fees for users or accept other tokens, so many users never handle Fee Juice directly.
- Staking and governance: the token is used to stake in the decentralized network and to take part in on-chain governance. Team and investors were barred from voting in governance for the first 12 months, including on the proposal that triggered token transfers.
AZTEC supply and token design
The total supply of AZTEC at genesis is 10,350,000,000 tokens. A public token sale on Uniswap's Continuous Clearing Auction raised about 19,476 ETH from roughly 17,000 participants and distributed around 15% of supply. Team and investor allocations unlock over three years. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.
AZTEC is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum at contract address 0xa27ec0006e59f245217ff08cd52a7e8b169e62d2. The token also has a representation on Hyperliquid's HyperEVM, so check which network a venue supports before transferring.
Official information is on aztec.network.
What to check before using AZTEC
- Security incident: Aztec has publicly disclosed a critical vulnerability found in the Alpha V5 proving system on 27 July 2026, and advises treating funds and applications on V5 as exposed until incident response is complete. Read the latest notices before using the network.
- Alpha stage: the network is running in alpha, with a further version planned, so the protocol may change and bugs are still possible.
- Token unlocks: team and investor tokens vest over several years, which adds supply to the market on a schedule.
- Privacy and compliance: privacy tools can face regulatory scrutiny in some regions, and rules may affect access through exchanges.
- Adoption: the value of the network depends on developers building private applications that attract real users.

Aztec market analysis
With a market capitalisation of $42.92 million, Aztec (AZTEC) is classed as a micro-cap asset and ranks #356 of 406 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 12.3% of them. It accounts for roughly under 0.01% of the combined tracked market value. Micro-cap assets are thinly traded in most cases: a modest order can move the price and spreads are often wide.
Over the last 24 hours roughly $2.65 million of AZTEC changed hands, equal to 6.17% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 44.3% of tracked assets. That is a moderate, fairly typical level of turnover. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 77% of tracked assets.
Price action: AZTEC moved −3.19% in 24 hours and −12.64% over 7 days. It underperformed Bitcoin by 1.01 percentage points over 24 hours and by 9.05 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (behind by 1.19 points on the day and behind by 8.15 points on the week), it has been a relative laggard in recent sessions.
To overtake FastX Network Token (FXNW) just above it, Aztec would need to grow its market cap by about 0.6%; it is 1.3% larger than Pentagon Chain (PC) just below. Its market cap is under 0.01% of Bitcoin's.
