How this score is calculated

A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:

  • Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
  • Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
  • Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
  • Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
  • Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).

Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.

Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

About OnRe Tokenized Reinsurance

What is OnRe Tokenized Reinsurance (ONYC)?

ONyc is a yield-bearing token from OnRe, a company that describes itself as an onchain reinsurance company. Each token represents a proportional claim on a regulated segregated account that underwrites short-duration insurance and reinsurance contracts. OnRe's own documentation is explicit that ONyc is not a stablecoin. It is a dollar-denominated asset whose value is designed to rise as the account earns income.

OnRe is regulated by the Bermuda Monetary Authority. OnRe SAC Ltd. holds a Class F Digital Asset Business Act license and a Class IIGB Insurance Act license, and capital is held in a legally ring-fenced structure in Bermuda. ONyc runs on Solana.

How ONyc works

Capital in the account collateralizes reinsurance exposure, including property catastrophe and specialty lines such as D&O, cyber and tech errors and omissions. Premiums and collateral returns accrue to the account, and holders benefit through a rising net asset value instead of regular payouts.

  • Value accrual: the token price follows a net asset value that is updated daily and delivered through independent oracles. It reflects premium accrual, reserve adjustments, claims and collateral yield.
  • Minting: users deposit USDC or USDG through the app or minting contract. The docs describe this as non-custodial with no mint fee beyond Solana network costs.
  • Redeeming: redemption follows the reverse path back into stablecoins.
  • Access tiers: open access is permissionless and subject to jurisdictional restrictions, while institutional access requires KYC or KYB.
  • DeFi use: OnRe says ONyc is designed to work as collateral in lending, borrowing and structured strategies.

ONYC supply and token design

ONyc has no fixed cap. Supply expands when users mint and contracts when they redeem. Collateral listed in the documentation includes Treasury bills and several stablecoins and tokenized dollar products such as USDC, USDG, sUSDe, sUSDS and USYC. There are also senior and junior tranche products, srONyc and jrONyc, with different loss exposure. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.

Official information is on onre.finance.

What to check before using ONYC

  • Insurance loss risk: reinsurance claims reduce the account's value, so ONyc can fall as well as rise, unlike a cash-backed stablecoin.
  • Valuation by oracle: the net asset value is published daily, so the market price on exchanges can differ from it.
  • Collateral risk: the account holds several stablecoins and tokenized products, each with its own issuer and depeg risk.
  • Eligibility: access depends on jurisdiction, and larger or institutional access needs verification.
  • Leverage: looping and borrowing strategies built on ONyc carry liquidation risk, and borrowing costs can exceed the token's income.

OnRe Tokenized Reinsurance market analysis

With a market capitalisation of $118.59 million, OnRe Tokenized Reinsurance (ONYC) is classed as a small-cap asset and ranks #254 of 1,340 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 81.0% of them. It accounts for roughly under 0.01% of the combined tracked market value. Small-cap assets can move quickly on news or exchange listings, and liquidity can thin out fast in sell-offs.

Over the last 24 hours roughly $2.63 million of ONYC changed hands, equal to 2.22% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 70.7% of tracked assets. That is a moderate, fairly typical level of turnover. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 36% of tracked assets.

Price action: ONYC moved +0.12% in 24 hours and −0.05% over 7 days. It outperformed Bitcoin by 2.33 percentage points over 24 hours and by 4.08 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (ahead by 2.40 points on the day and ahead by 6.17 points on the week), it has been a relative strength in recent sessions.

To overtake Syscoin (SYS) just above it, OnRe Tokenized Reinsurance would need to grow its market cap by about 0.5%; it is 0.2% larger than BCGame Coin (BC) just below. Its market cap is under 0.01% of Bitcoin's.
