How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is Midas mTBILL (MTBILL)?
mTBILL is a tokenized certificate from Midas that tracks short-term US Treasury bills. It is issued by Midas Software GmbH, a German company, and was approved by Liechtenstein's Financial Market Authority. In October 2024 Midas opened mTBILL to retail investors across Europe, positioning it as a lower-barrier alternative to institutional tokenized Treasury funds.
How mTBILL works
mTBILL is a certificate whose redemption value is based on a reference basket of short-term Treasury ETFs and funds, including BlackRock's iShares and BUIDL products. It is not a share of a fund held directly by the holder. Users deposit stablecoins such as USDC to receive mTBILL, and the token's value increases as the underlying basket earns income instead of paying separate distributions.
- Instant redemption burns mTBILL and returns USDC from a liquidity buffer for a small fee.
- Standard redemption is processed by Midas off-chain.
- Issuance and redemption go through Midas contracts that apply eligibility checks.
What MTBILL is used for
- Holding on-chain exposure to short-term US Treasury yields.
- Using it as a base asset or collateral in DeFi applications that integrate it.
- Offering a Treasury-linked asset to holders who want exposure without managing bills or ETFs directly.
- Moving treasury value across supported networks, which include Ethereum, Base, Rootstock, Etherlink, Oasis Sapphire and Plume.
MTBILL supply and token design
mTBILL has no fixed cap. New tokens are minted when eligible users deposit and burned on redemption. The Ethereum contract is 0xdd629e5241cbc5919847783e6c96b2de4754e438, and the same address is used on several other networks, with Plume using a separate contract. The Final Terms issued under Liechtenstein regulation describe the product as a certificate, so holders have a claim on the issuer, not a direct claim on the Treasury assets. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.
Official information is on midas.app.
What to check before using MTBILL
- Issuer risk: mTBILL is a certificate, so holders depend on Midas and its structure rather than owning Treasury bills directly.
- Eligibility: purchase and redemption involve checks and may be restricted by jurisdiction, so confirm that you qualify.
- Redemption value is based on a best-efforts liquidation of the reference basket, less fees, so it can differ from the quoted price.
- Instant redemption depends on available liquidity, and standard redemption is not instant.
- Smart-contract and cross-chain risks apply, and the contract address differs on Plume.

Trading activity is very low relative to market cap, which usually points to poor liquidity. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 0% of tracked assets.
