ⓘ Circulating · Total supply · Max supply
Circulating supply: coins currently available to trade, as reported by the data provider.
Total supply: coins created so far, minus any burned. It includes locked or not-yet-released coins.
Max supply: the hard cap on coins that can ever exist. Shown as “No max supply” when the protocol sets no cap.
CryptoWave Health score
Five measurable signals. Each ring segment’s length is its weight; how full it is shows the score.
Volume is 2.37% of market cap. Normal turnover for its size.
$207.78M market cap, rank #172. Bigger is harder to push around.
100% of the total supply circulates. Little dilution ahead.
92.1% below its all-time high of $0.4067.
Largest recent swing: 3.29% a day. Moderate.
Describes market structure today. Not a price forecast and not investment advice.
How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is Kaia (KAIA)?
Kaia is a layer 1 blockchain formed by merging two existing networks, Klaytn and Finschia. The transition took place in 2024, and KAIA is the native token of the combined chain. Klaytn holders saw their balances carried over as KAIA, while Finschia users swapped FNSA tokens for KAIA at a fixed rate through the Kaiabridge contracts.
The chain is EVM-compatible: the Kaia Virtual Machine supports all EVM opcodes plus Kaia-specific precompiles, and works with Solidity and tools such as Remix, Hardhat and Foundry. Its consensus is an optimized version of Istanbul BFT. A committee of validators is chosen with a verifiable random function, a proposer produces each block, and blocks need signatures from more than two thirds of the committee. The design targets one-second blocks with immediate finality.
What KAIA is used for
- Fees: KAIA pays transaction fees for transfers and smart contract execution, compensating the nodes that process them.
- Staking and governance: Governance Council members must stake at least 5 million KAIA, and rewards are shared in proportion to stake above that minimum.
- Apps and payments: the project promotes Mini DApps and stablecoin work, including an overview of a KRW stablecoin.
KAIA supply and token design
KAIA has no fixed cap. Under the documented design, 9.6 KAIA are minted for every new block, which the docs put at roughly 5.2% inflation per year, although the rate can be changed through Kaia's governance process. Block rewards are split as follows:
- 50% to validators and the community, made up of 10% contribution rewards and 40% staking rewards.
- 25% to the Kaia Ecosystem Fund.
- 25% to the Kaia Infrastructure Fund.
Staking data updates every 86,400 blocks, and withdrawals carry a one-week delay. A treasury rebalance contract can reduce or increase treasury balances through a staged, validator-approved process. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.
Official information is on kaia.io.
What to check before using KAIA
- Old tokens and tickers: KLAY and FNSA were retired in the transition. Treat any listing still presenting them as unmigrated with caution.
- Inflation: new KAIA is minted every block, so holders who do not stake are diluted unless the rate is changed.
- Governance concentration: a limited Governance Council runs the chain, and its members need large stakes.
- Funds controlled by committees: half of block rewards go to ecosystem and infrastructure funds whose use is approved by the council.
- Competition: Kaia competes with many EVM networks for developers and users.

Kaia market analysis
With a market capitalisation of $207.78 million, Kaia (KAIA) is classed as a small-cap asset and ranks #172 of 1,340 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 87.2% of them. It accounts for roughly under 0.01% of the combined tracked market value. Small-cap assets can move quickly on news or exchange listings, and liquidity can thin out fast in sell-offs.
Over the last 24 hours roughly $4.91 million of KAIA changed hands, equal to 2.37% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 81.5% of tracked assets. That is a moderate, fairly typical level of turnover. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 37% of tracked assets.
Price action: KAIA moved −3.29% in 24 hours and −7.35% over 7 days. It underperformed Bitcoin by 1.08 percentage points over 24 hours and by 3.22 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (behind by 1.01 points on the day and behind by 1.13 points on the week), it has been a relative laggard in recent sessions.
To overtake KOGE (KOGE) just above it, Kaia would need to grow its market cap by about 0.3%; it is 0.7% larger than Collector Crypt (CARDS) just below. Its market cap is 0.01% of Bitcoin's.
