ⓘ Circulating · Total supply · Max supply
Circulating supply: coins currently available to trade, as reported by the data provider.
Total supply: coins created so far, minus any burned. It includes locked or not-yet-released coins.
Max supply: the hard cap on coins that can ever exist. Shown as “No max supply” when the protocol sets no cap.
CryptoWave Health score
Five measurable signals. Each ring segment’s length is its weight; how full it is shows the score.
Volume is 0.00% of market cap. Thin trading; small orders can move the price.
— market cap, rank #407. Bigger is harder to push around.
85% of the maximum supply circulates. Little dilution ahead.
97.8% below its all-time high of $4.52.
Largest recent swing: 2.69% a day. Moderate.
Describes market structure today. Not a price forecast and not investment advice.
How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is dYdX (DYDX)?
dYdX is a decentralized exchange for perpetual futures, built by a team led by founder Antonio Juliano. DYDX began as an Ethereum governance token in August 2021. Since the dYdX Chain went live, with its first block produced on 26 October 2023, DYDX has also been the native layer 1 token of that chain. The chain is built with the Cosmos SDK and CometBFT and uses proof-of-stake consensus, so it is a separate network from Ethereum.
How dYdX works
Validators on the dYdX Chain keep an order book in memory, off-chain and outside consensus, and propose blocks that contain matched trades. Trades are settled on-chain. This design lets the exchange run a central limit order book without a single company operating the matching engine.
DYDX has these roles:
- Security: holders stake DYDX with validators, or run a validator themselves, to secure the chain.
- Governance: stakers vote on protocol changes and parameters.
- Rewards: staking rewards are funded from protocol fees rather than new token issuance.
Because the exchange is run by validators and the front ends are separate from the protocol, no single company controls the chain itself. Anyone can build an interface or trading bot against the open-source code, which is published on GitHub by the dYdX Protocol organization.
DYDX supply and token design
The original Ethereum token was created with a supply of 1 billion, vesting over five years from August 2021. A one-way bridge lets holders convert Ethereum-based DYDX (ethDYDX) into native DYDX on the dYdX Chain, and the wrapped version carries the same governance rights. Because the token exists in two forms, check which one a venue or wallet supports before sending funds. The original Ethereum contract is 0x92d6c1e31e14520e676a687f0a93788b716beff5. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.
Official information is on dydx.foundation.
What to check before using DYDX
- Two token forms exist, ethDYDX on Ethereum and DYDX on the dYdX Chain, and the bridge only runs one way.
- Staking locks tokens, and delegating to a validator carries validator risk, including penalties for misbehavior.
- Perpetual futures use leverage, and leveraged positions can be liquidated quickly in volatile markets.
- The chain's own upgrades are decided by governance votes, so rules can change over time. Staking rewards depend on trading fees, which rise and fall with exchange activity.
- Access to dYdX front ends can be restricted by region, so confirm that you may use them where you live.
