ⓘ Circulating · Total supply · Max supply
Circulating supply: coins currently available to trade, as reported by the data provider.
Total supply: coins created so far, minus any burned. It includes locked or not-yet-released coins.
Max supply: the hard cap on coins that can ever exist. Shown as “No max supply” when the protocol sets no cap.
CryptoWave Health score
Five measurable signals. Each ring segment’s length is its weight; how full it is shows the score.
Volume is 1.09% of market cap. Thin trading; small orders can move the price.
$319.86M market cap, rank #137. Bigger is harder to push around.
71% of the maximum supply circulates. Little dilution ahead.
47.1% below its all-time high of $0.5693.
Largest recent swing: 6.61% a day. Volatile.
Describes market structure today. Not a price forecast and not investment advice.
How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is Derive (DRV)?
Derive is a decentralized trading protocol for crypto options and perpetual futures. It was previously known as Lyra Finance, and the LYRA token was migrated to DRV at a one-to-one ratio in January 2025. The project describes itself as institutional-grade onchain trading with offchain order matching and self-custody, built on Ethereum and using zero-knowledge proofs to verify protocol operations on Ethereum.
What DRV is used for
Derive offers a set of trading products and tools:
- Options and perpetuals: traded on a low-latency order book with HTTP and WebSocket APIs.
- Spot markets: including a DRV-USDC market.
- Vaults: operators can take deposits, trade options and perpetuals, and earn management and performance fees.
- Block RFQ: a request-for-quote tool for large or multi-leg trades that execute atomically.
- Margin: standard cross-collateral margin or scenario-based portfolio margin, managed per subaccount.
DRV is the protocol's own token. The site links to staking of DRV and to a governance forum and Snapshot space, which show its role in staking and community governance. The V3 core contracts were audited by ZKSecurity.
DRV supply and token design
The total supply is 1.5 billion DRV. The token exists on several networks, including Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Hyperliquid and HyperEVM, and the Ethereum version is the contract at 0xB1D1eae60EEA9525032a6DCb4c1CE336a1dE71BE. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.
Because the project changed its name and token, older LYRA references can still show up in wallets and guides. Check any token against the official site before trading it.
Because trading and collateral sit in self-custodial subaccounts, users keep control of their funds while the exchange matches orders. The project publishes open-source code on the derivexyz GitHub organisation, and its governance discussions take place in a public forum and Snapshot space, so changes to the protocol can be followed in the open.
Official information is on derive.xyz.
What to check before using DRV
- Options and perpetual futures can lose money quickly, especially with leverage. Vault strategies can also lose funds.
- Trade matching happens offchain, so you rely on the operator's systems as well as the smart contracts.
- Derivatives platforms can be restricted for users in some regions. Check the terms before using the app.
- Smart-contract audits reduce risk but do not remove it.
- The token trades on many chains, and old LYRA tokens are still easy to confuse with DRV.

Derive market analysis
With a market capitalisation of $319.86 million, Derive (DRV) is classed as a small-cap asset and ranks #136 of 1,340 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 89.9% of them. It accounts for roughly 0.01% of the combined tracked market value. Small-cap assets can move quickly on news or exchange listings, and liquidity can thin out fast in sell-offs.
Over the last 24 hours roughly $3.49 million of DRV changed hands, equal to 1.09% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 76.0% of tracked assets. That is a quiet level of turnover, so large orders may meet limited depth. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 24% of tracked assets.
Price action: DRV moved −6.61% in 24 hours and −14.53% over 7 days. It underperformed Bitcoin by 4.40 percentage points over 24 hours and by 10.40 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (behind by 4.34 points on the day and behind by 8.32 points on the week), it has been a relative laggard in recent sessions.
To overtake TONToken (TON) just above it, Derive would need to grow its market cap by about 0.1%; it is 0.3% larger than Pieverse (PIEVERSE) just below. Its market cap is 0.02% of Bitcoin's.
