About Nautilus Wallet — Ergo

Nautilus is a browser wallet built specifically for Ergo. It holds ERG and Ergo tokens, connects to Ergo applications and includes an NFT gallery. You can keep several wallets in the extension or use a supported Ledger device to sign transactions. The project publishes its code and releases on GitHub. This is the Ergo wallet called Nautilus, rather than the separate Nano wallet with the same name.

Check the wallet’s supported networks and recovery method before sending funds. Never share a private key or recovery phrase.

Choosing a crypto wallet

A wallet stores the keys that control your coins. Self-custody wallets give you the keys, usually as a recovery phrase of 12 or 24 words; custodial wallets keep the keys for you, like a bank account.

This profile lists the platforms the wallet runs on, the coins it supports and the features it offers. Where shown, the security, privacy and ease-of-use dots are a quick summary of the wallet’s design, not an independent audit.

What to check before you install

  • Download only from the official website or app store listing linked here.
  • Write your recovery phrase on paper and keep it offline. Anyone with it can take your coins.
  • For larger amounts, consider a hardware wallet that keeps keys off your phone or computer.
  • Make sure the wallet supports the network you will use, not just the coin name.
