ⓘ Circulating · Total supply · Max supply
Circulating supply: coins currently available to trade, as reported by the data provider.
Total supply: coins created so far, minus any burned. It includes locked or not-yet-released coins.
Max supply: the hard cap on coins that can ever exist. Shown as “No max supply” when the protocol sets no cap.
CryptoWave Health score
Five measurable signals. Each ring segment’s length is its weight; how full it is shows the score.
Volume is 24.01% of market cap. Trades easily.
$127.91M market cap, rank #219. Bigger is harder to push around.
98% of the maximum supply circulates. Little dilution ahead.
99.5% below its all-time high of $8.40.
Largest recent swing: 4.74% a day. Moderate.
Describes market structure today. Not a price forecast and not investment advice.
How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is The Sandbox (SAND)?
The Sandbox is a user-generated game and metaverse platform. It began in 2012 as a mobile game from Pixowl, founded by Arthur Madrid and Sebastien Borget. Pixowl is now a subsidiary of Animoca Brands. The project was relaunched in 2019 as a blockchain-based world on Ethereum, and the SAND token followed in 2020.
Creators build games and experiences with tools such as VoxEdit and the Game Maker, and they place them on LAND, the platform's virtual real estate NFTs.
What SAND is used for
SAND is the platform currency.
- Marketplace purchases of assets, avatars and LAND.
- In-game purchases and avatar customisation.
- Governance: SAND holders can vote through The Sandbox DAO on updates and allocation of funds.
- Staking, which uses SAND held on Polygon.
A share of transaction fees goes to the Sandbox Foundation, which funds creator grants and new experiences.
LAND is an NFT collection that maps to plots in the virtual world, and owners can host experiences on it. Creators build assets in VoxEdit, publish them to the marketplace, and use the Game Maker to assemble playable experiences without writing code. SAND also works as the currency that links these tools together.
The Sandbox sits in the Animoca Brands group, which also holds interests in many other games and blockchain projects. Its token page and contracts are public, so holders can follow transfers and approvals on a block explorer, and the DAO publishes proposals that SAND and LAND holders can vote on. Staking and marketplace activity run on Polygon to keep transaction costs lower than on Ethereum mainnet.
SAND supply and token design
SAND has a maximum supply of 3 billion tokens. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.
The Ethereum contract is 0x3845badade8e6dff049820680d1f14bd3903a5d0. SAND also runs on Polygon and Base with separate contracts, so match the address to the network you use.
Official information is on sandbox.game.
What to check before using SAND
- Platform adoption: SAND's usefulness depends on creators and players staying active in the metaverse.
- Virtual land and NFTs can be hard to sell, and prices can fall.
- Multiple networks: wrapped or bridged SAND on other chains adds bridge risk.
- Fee and reward terms can change, so check the current marketplace rules.
- Competition from other games and virtual worlds is strong.

The Sandbox market analysis
With a market capitalisation of $127.91 million, The Sandbox (SAND) is classed as a small-cap asset and ranks #240 of 406 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 40.9% of them. It accounts for roughly under 0.01% of the combined tracked market value. Small-cap assets can move quickly on news or exchange listings, and liquidity can thin out fast in sell-offs.
Over the last 24 hours roughly $30.71 million of SAND changed hands, equal to 24.01% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 80.8% of tracked assets. That is an active level of turnover for an asset of this size. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 95% of tracked assets.
Price action: SAND moved −4.74% in 24 hours and −8.76% over 7 days. It underperformed Bitcoin by 2.56 percentage points over 24 hours and by 5.17 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (behind by 2.75 points on the day and behind by 4.27 points on the week), it has been a relative laggard in recent sessions.
To overtake Bedrock (BR) just above it, The Sandbox would need to grow its market cap by about 0.1%; it is 0.2% larger than Railgun (RAIL) just below. Its market cap is under 0.01% of Bitcoin's.
