Circulating supply: coins currently available to trade, as reported by the data provider.

Total supply: coins created so far, minus any burned. It includes locked or not-yet-released coins.

Max supply: the hard cap on coins that can ever exist. Shown as “No max supply” when the protocol sets no cap.

How this score is calculated

A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:

  • Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
  • Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
  • Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
  • Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
  • Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).

Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.

Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

About Provenance Blockchain

What is Provenance Blockchain (HASH)?

Provenance Blockchain is a public proof-of-stake blockchain for tokenizing and moving real-world financial assets. It was started by Figure Technologies, which launched the network in 2018 as a permissioned chain for financial services. A public version followed in 2021, built on the Cosmos SDK and Tendermint and overseen by the Provenance Blockchain Foundation. HASH is its native token. It is not a supply-chain tracking token.

What HASH is used for

The Provenance site calls the chain a leading blockchain for digital real-world asset tokenization. HASH has several roles:

  • Fees: HASH is needed to execute transactions and pay network fees.
  • Staking: holders stake to validators to secure the network by proof of stake.
  • Governance: holders take part in on-chain decisions.

The chain's base unit is called nhash. Fees collected by the network are shared: Provenance stated in 2024 that 93% goes to delegators and 7% to a protocol fund. The chain is built for financial applications such as lending, securities and asset records, and its code is public on the provenance-io GitHub organisation.

HASH supply and token design

Provenance states that the supply is fixed at 100 billion HASH, that all of it has been distributed and vested, that there is no inflation, and that HASH cannot be created or destroyed. Staking rewards therefore come from network fees rather than new tokens. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.

The chain has its own block explorer, and the token can also be viewed on Mintscan since the network is part of the wider Cosmos ecosystem.

Official information is on provenance.io.

What to check before using HASH

  • The network is closely tied to Figure Technologies and its financial products, so the token's use depends on that ecosystem staying active.
  • Staking income depends on fee volume, since there is no new issuance, and it can be low in quiet periods.
  • HASH has a small validator set compared with large networks. Check how stake is distributed.
  • Tokenized real-world assets on the chain carry their own legal and counterparty terms, which are separate from the HASH token.
  • Be careful with wrapped or exchange versions of HASH, and use the official explorer to confirm the native nhash denomination.

Provenance Blockchain project profile

Provenance Blockchain (HASH) is marked as inactive in public project registries. Development or trading may have stopped, so any price shown on this page can be stale or illiquid. Check that the asset can still be traded or withdrawn before relying on it.

Provenance Blockchain market analysis

With a market capitalisation of $387.48 million, Provenance Blockchain (HASH) is classed as a small-cap asset and ranks #125 of 1,340 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 90.7% of them. It accounts for roughly 0.01% of the combined tracked market value. Small-cap assets can move quickly on news or exchange listings, and liquidity can thin out fast in sell-offs.

Over the last 24 hours roughly $32.9 thousand of HASH changed hands, equal to 0.01% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 11.9% of tracked assets. Trading activity is very low relative to market cap, which usually points to poor liquidity. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 5% of tracked assets.

Price action: HASH moved +1.98% in 24 hours and −12.57% over 7 days. It outperformed Bitcoin by 4.19 percentage points over 24 hours but underperformed it by 8.44 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (ahead by 4.26 points on the day and behind by 6.36 points on the week), it has been a relative laggard in recent sessions.

To overtake Grass (GRASS) just above it, Provenance Blockchain would need to grow its market cap by about 3.2%; it is 1.9% larger than tBTC (TBTC) just below. Its market cap is 0.03% of Bitcoin's.
