How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is Peanut the Squirrel (PNUT)?
Peanut the Squirrel, ticker PNUT, is a meme coin on the Solana blockchain. It is named after Peanut, an orphaned squirrel raised by Mark Longo in New York who built a following of tens of thousands on Instagram, TikTok and other platforms over about seven years. In late October 2024, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation seized Peanut from the home. Officials cited rabies exposure concerns and said keeping the wild animal was illegal, and he was euthanized. News of his death spread widely, and the PNUT token was created on the pump.fun platform in early November 2024.
What PNUT is used for
PNUT has no protocol, fee mechanism or governance rights attached to it. It functions as a community token:
- Memorial theme: the token's identity centres on the story of Peanut.
- Trading: it is bought and sold on decentralized and centralized exchanges.
- Community participation: holders use it to join in the social media conversation around the coin.
Because the whole supply was created at launch, the main questions for holders concern how concentrated ownership is and how much liquidity exists, both of which can be checked on a Solana explorer.
PNUT supply and token design
PNUT is a standard Solana token created through pump.fun, a launch platform that mints tokens with a fixed supply and a bonding curve before they move to open trading. The maximum supply is 1 billion PNUT, and nearly all of it is already in circulation, so there is no scheduled emission to expect. The contract address is 2qEHjDLDLbuBgRYvsxhc5D6uDWAivNFZGan56P1tpump, and many lookalike tokens use the same name.
Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.
The token contract can be inspected on Solscan.
What to check before using PNUT
- No utility. The token has no revenue or product, so its price depends on attention.
- Anonymous issuance. The creators are not publicly identified and no organization is accountable for the token.
- Image rights. The token uses the likeness of a real animal and its owner's social media brand, so there may be disputes over use of that material.
- Copycats. Many tokens share the name Peanut or PNUT, so verify the contract address.
- Volatility. Meme coins launched on pump.fun can move sharply in either direction and can lose most of their value after the initial hype.

Peanut the Squirrel market analysis
With a market capitalisation of $38.14 million, Peanut the Squirrel (PNUT) is classed as a micro-cap asset and ranks #517 of 406 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 0.0% of them. It accounts for roughly under 0.01% of the combined tracked market value. Micro-cap assets are thinly traded in most cases: a modest order can move the price and spreads are often wide.
Over the last 24 hours roughly $1.86 million of PNUT changed hands, equal to 4.89% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 0.0% of tracked assets. That is a moderate, fairly typical level of turnover. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 70% of tracked assets.
Price action: PNUT moved −3.75% in 24 hours and −8.10% over 7 days. It underperformed Bitcoin by 1.57 percentage points over 24 hours and by 4.51 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (behind by 1.76 points on the day and behind by 3.60 points on the week), it has been a relative laggard in recent sessions.
To overtake PayProtocol Paycoin (PCI) just above it, Peanut the Squirrel would need to grow its market cap by about 0.1%; it is 0.2% larger than Casper Network (CSPR) just below. Its market cap is under 0.01% of Bitcoin's.
