CryptoWave Health score
Five measurable signals. Each ring segment’s length is its weight; how full it is shows the score.
Volume is 0.00% of market cap. Thin trading; small orders can move the price.
$89.76M market cap, rank #280. Bigger is harder to push around.
100% of the total supply circulates. Little dilution ahead.
68.9% below its all-time high of $185.97.
Largest recent swing: 1.65% a day. Calm.

How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is Nexus Mutual (NXM)?
Nexus Mutual is a member-owned alternative to insurance, run on Ethereum and governed as a DAO. It was founded by Hugh Karp, a former actuary, and went live on Ethereum in 2019. Members share risk and buy cover against events such as smart contract failures, with claims decided by the community rather than a traditional insurer. The protocol is maintained with support from a UK community interest company, the Nexus Mutual Foundation.
What NXM is used for
NXM is the membership and capital token of the mutual. Its main roles are:
- Membership: holding NXM is tied to being a member who can buy cover and vote.
- Risk assessment and claims: members stake NXM to assess risk and to vote on claims, and a dishonest vote can cost the stake.
- Governance: members vote on proposals about the protocol, its capital pool and the DAO treasury.
Unlike a conventional insurer, Nexus Mutual has no shareholders. The members who hold NXM are both the owners and the underwriters, and they take on the downside when claims are paid. This is the main reason the token is described as a capital token and not only a governance token.
NXM supply and token design
NXM does not trade like a normal token. Its price is set by an on-chain mechanism linked to the mutual's capital pool, instead of by an open order book. The capital pool holds the assets that pay approved claims, and the supply of NXM grows or shrinks as the protocol mints and burns tokens. There is no fixed maximum supply. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.
Membership requires identity verification, and NXM cannot be freely sent to non-members. For that reason a separate wrapped token, wNXM, trades on open markets. wNXM is a different asset from NXM and does not carry membership rights. The NXM contract on Ethereum is 0xd7c49cee7e9188cca6ad8ff264c1da2e69d4cf3b.
Official information is on nexusmutual.io.
What to check before using NXM
- NXM and wNXM are different tokens, and only NXM represents membership in the mutual.
- Cover is discretionary, so a claim is paid only if the community votes to approve it under the cover terms.
- The capital pool backs the cover sold, and a very large loss event could strain it.
- Membership needs identity verification, so access can depend on your location and eligibility.
- Cover applies only to the listed risks, and many events are excluded.

Nexus Mutual market analysis
With a market capitalisation of $89.76 million, Nexus Mutual (NXM) is classed as a micro-cap asset and ranks #280 of 402 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 30.3% of them. It accounts for roughly under 0.01% of the combined tracked market value. Micro-cap assets are thinly traded in most cases: a modest order can move the price and spreads are often wide.
Over the last 24 hours roughly $0.00 of NXM changed hands, equal to 0.00% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 9.2% of tracked assets. Trading activity is very low relative to market cap, which usually points to poor liquidity. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 0% of tracked assets.
Price action: NXM moved −1.65% in 24 hours and −1.32% over 7 days. It outperformed Bitcoin by 0.41 percentage points over 24 hours and by 2.54 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (ahead by 0.33 points on the day and ahead by 3.33 points on the week), it has been a relative strength in recent sessions.
To overtake Verified Emeralds (VEREM) just above it, Nexus Mutual would need to grow its market cap by about 1.4%; it is 4.3% larger than YZY (YZY) just below. Its market cap is under 0.01% of Bitcoin's.
