ⓘ Circulating · Total supply · Max supply
Circulating supply: coins currently available to trade, as reported by the data provider.
Total supply: coins created so far, minus any burned. It includes locked or not-yet-released coins.
Max supply: the hard cap on coins that can ever exist. Shown as “No max supply” when the protocol sets no cap.
CryptoWave Health score
Five measurable signals. Each ring segment’s length is its weight; how full it is shows the score.
Volume is 2.81% of market cap. Normal turnover for its size.
$153.24M market cap, rank #212. Bigger is harder to push around.
56% of the maximum supply circulates. Little dilution ahead.
60.5% below its all-time high of $0.6869.
Largest recent swing: 5.20% a day. Moderate.
Describes market structure today. Not a price forecast and not investment advice.
How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is Meteora (MET)?
Meteora is a decentralized liquidity protocol on Solana. It builds pool and liquidity-management products so that traders can swap tokens and liquidity providers can earn trading fees, and its pool types include DLMM and DAMM. MET is its governance token. The token generation event took place on 23 October 2025.
What MET is used for
The project describes MET as a governance token meant to help bring liquidity back to Solana DeFi, with holders discussing and deciding the direction of the protocol. Its uses include:
- Governance: holders take part in decisions about the protocol's strategy.
- Value capture through buybacks: the team has said a portion of trading fees from DLMM and DAMM pools can fund discretionary MET buybacks.
- Staking: the team has said it plans to enable MET staking in future.
Pool products and their fees are separate from the token, and you can use Meteora without holding MET.
Meteora also offers launch tooling for new Solana tokens, so projects can start trading with pools set up from the beginning. Fees from these products are what the team refers to when it discusses buybacks, which ties the token loosely to the protocol's trading activity.
MET supply and token design
MET has a total supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens. The distribution was published ahead of launch and includes a share for holders of the earlier Mercurial token (MER), a liquidity incentive programme for Meteora users, and smaller shares for Jupiter stakers, launchpads and market makers. The team allocation and the Meteora ecosystem reserve are both vested over six years, so new tokens continue to unlock into the market over a long period. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.
MET is a native Solana token. Its mint address is METvsvVRapdj9cFLzq4Tr43xK4tAjQfwX76z3n6mWQL, which is worth confirming on a block explorer because many lookalike tokens use the same name on Solana.
Official information is on meteora.ag.
What to check before using MET
- Ongoing unlocks: team and reserve allocations vest gradually, which can add supply to the market over time.
- Discretionary buybacks: fee-funded buybacks are at the team's discretion and are not a guaranteed return.
- Impermanent loss: providing liquidity in Meteora pools can lose value relative to simply holding the tokens.
- Smart-contract risk: pools, vaults and launch tools are code, and bugs or exploits can lead to losses.
- Solana ecosystem exposure: the protocol depends on Solana trading activity and on the wider health of its DeFi sector.

Meteora market analysis
With a market capitalisation of $153.24 million, Meteora (MET) is classed as a small-cap asset and ranks #212 of 1,340 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 84.2% of them. It accounts for roughly under 0.01% of the combined tracked market value. Small-cap assets can move quickly on news or exchange listings, and liquidity can thin out fast in sell-offs.
Over the last 24 hours roughly $4.31 million of MET changed hands, equal to 2.81% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 79.3% of tracked assets. That is a moderate, fairly typical level of turnover. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 41% of tracked assets.
Price action: MET moved −4.48% in 24 hours and −13.53% over 7 days. It underperformed Bitcoin by 2.27 percentage points over 24 hours and by 9.40 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (behind by 2.21 points on the day and behind by 7.31 points on the week), it has been a relative laggard in recent sessions.
To overtake apyUSD (APYUSD) just above it, Meteora would need to grow its market cap by about 1.3%; it is 0.9% larger than Strategy PP Variable xStock (STRCX) just below. Its market cap is under 0.01% of Bitcoin's.
