How this score is calculated

A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:

  • Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
  • Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
  • Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
  • Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
  • Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).

Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.

Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

About Flying Tulip

What is Flying Tulip (FT)?

Flying Tulip is an onchain finance project founded by Andre Cronje. It aims to bring spot trading, derivatives, lending, money markets, a native stablecoin called ftUSD and insurance into one cross-margin system. FT is its token. After a private seed round of $200 million structured as a SAFT, the project ran a public sale, and the token became transferable on 23 February 2026. The project is separate from other assets that use the FT ticker, which is why the contract address matters.

What FT is used for

FT sits at the centre of the project's funding and value model:

  • It carries the perpetual put. Buyers in the seed and public rounds can burn FT at any time to redeem up to their original principal in the asset they contributed, such as ETH.
  • It receives protocol revenue through buybacks. Fees from trading, lending, liquidations, ftUSD yield and insurance are meant to fund open-market purchases of FT.
  • It funds the team. Team members receive no initial allocation and are instead paid through scheduled buybacks funded by protocol revenue.

FT supply and token design

The distinctive feature is the put. Redemptions run through audited smart contracts with queues and rate limits, and if reserves are temporarily short, requests wait until capital is replenished. FT tokens that are burned to exercise the put leave circulation permanently. The project says raised capital is not spent but deployed into onchain yield strategies through protocols such as Aave, Ethena and Spark, and the resulting yield is meant to finance growth, incentives and buybacks. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.

The same contract address, 0x5dd1a7a369e8273371d2dbf9d83356057088082c, is used on Ethereum, Sonic, BNB Smart Chain, Base and Avalanche. Sonic was the first chain the project planned to harden before expanding.

Official information is on flyingtulip.com.

What to check before using FT

  • The put is a right tied to the original purchase terms. Check how the project treats transferred or secondary-market tokens before assuming you hold it.
  • Redemptions depend on available reserves, queues and rate limits, so exit is not instant in stress.
  • Yield strategies add smart-contract and counterparty risk from the protocols used.
  • Much of the model relies on future revenue and buybacks that have not yet been proven at scale.
  • The token contract includes a pause mechanism controlled by a privileged role, and the same address spans many chains, so confirm it from the official site.

Flying Tulip market analysis

With a market capitalisation of $55.78 million, Flying Tulip (FT) is classed as a micro-cap asset and ranks #323 of 402 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 19.7% of them. It accounts for roughly under 0.01% of the combined tracked market value. Micro-cap assets are thinly traded in most cases: a modest order can move the price and spreads are often wide.

Over the last 24 hours roughly $15.6 thousand of FT changed hands, equal to 0.03% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 16.2% of tracked assets. Trading activity is very low relative to market cap, which usually points to poor liquidity. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 16% of tracked assets.

Price action: FT moved −0.14% in 24 hours and −10.20% over 7 days. It outperformed Bitcoin by 1.54 percentage points over 24 hours but underperformed it by 5.95 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (ahead by 1.42 points on the day and behind by 5.31 points on the week), it has been a relative laggard in recent sessions.

To overtake Banana For Scale (BANANAS31) just above it, Flying Tulip would need to grow its market cap by about 0.5%; it is 2.1% larger than Intel (bStocks Tokenized Stock) (INTCB) just below. Its market cap is under 0.01% of Bitcoin's.
