Circulating supply: coins currently available to trade, as reported by the data provider.

Total supply: coins created so far, minus any burned. It includes locked or not-yet-released coins.

Max supply: the hard cap on coins that can ever exist. Shown as “No max supply” when the protocol sets no cap.

How this score is calculated

A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:

  • Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
  • Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
  • Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
  • Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
  • Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).

Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.

Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

About ETHGas

What is ETHGas (GWEI)?

ETHGas is a protocol that makes Ethereum blockspace tradable. Normally a user submits a transaction and hopes it lands in a block at an acceptable fee. ETHGas lets validators sell blockspace in advance and lets applications, traders and institutions buy guaranteed inclusion and execution. The project says blockspace has been tradable on its platform since November 2024. GWEI is its governance token, and a token generation event followed in January 2026.

How ETHGas works

ETHGas is built around three product areas described on its site.

  • Blockspace and preconfirmations: a marketplace where blockspace can be bought, sold and traded as futures, and where users can get a promise of inclusion before a block is built.
  • Realtime execution: a system that slices Ethereum's 12-second blocks into many smaller sub-blocks so that state can be confirmed in tens of milliseconds.
  • Institutional blockspace: tooling aimed at regulated firms that need predictable execution on public Ethereum.

Validators gain contracted revenue from selling blockspace forward, and users gain predictable fees and faster confirmation.

GWEI supply and token design

The site describes GWEI as governance for Ethereum's blockspace. Holders can lock GWEI as veGWEI to vote on parameters, treasury use, incentives and upgrades. GWEI has a maximum supply of 10 billion tokens. The "Proof of Pain" airdrop opened on January 21, 2026 and rewarded wallets according to the gas they had spent on Ethereum mainnet, with a snapshot taken on January 19, 2026.

The name GWEI also refers to the unit used to price Ethereum gas, so searches can return unrelated results. The ETHGas token is a separate asset, and the project publishes its token addresses on its official site. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.

Official information is on ethgas.com.

What to check before using GWEI

  • Preconfirmation and blockspace futures are new designs, and the market for them is still small, so adoption is uncertain.
  • Value depends on validators and builders using the system, and on Ethereum's own roadmap for block building and inclusion.
  • Token contracts differ by network and lookalike tokens are common, so confirm the exact contract on the official site before buying.
  • Airdropped tokens and investor or team allocations can create selling pressure when they unlock.
  • Governance power is tied to locking tokens, which limits flexibility.

ETHGas market analysis

With a market capitalisation of $35.34 million, ETHGas (GWEI) is classed as a micro-cap asset and ranks #363 of 402 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 9.7% of them. It accounts for roughly under 0.01% of the combined tracked market value. Micro-cap assets are thinly traded in most cases: a modest order can move the price and spreads are often wide.

Over the last 24 hours roughly $1.20 million of GWEI changed hands, equal to 3.40% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 37.3% of tracked assets. That is a moderate, fairly typical level of turnover. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 61% of tracked assets.

Price action: GWEI moved −6.18% in 24 hours and −5.29% over 7 days. It underperformed Bitcoin by 4.12 percentage points over 24 hours and by 1.43 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (behind by 4.21 points on the day and behind by 0.64 points on the week), it has been a relative laggard in recent sessions.

To overtake Securitize (SECZ) just above it, ETHGas would need to grow its market cap by about 0.2%; it is 4.9% larger than MEME HORSE (MHORSE) just below. Its market cap is under 0.01% of Bitcoin's.
