How this score is calculated
A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:
- Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
- Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
- Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
- Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
- Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).
Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.
Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

What is Cap USD (CUSD)?
Cap USD, written cUSD, is the dollar stablecoin of Cap, a credit platform on Ethereum. Cap describes its system as one in which underwriters escrow collateral to insure loans made to whitelisted borrowers, and cUSD is the dollar token at the centre of it. The ticker CUSD is also used by other, unrelated stablecoins, so check the contract address before trading.
How cUSD works
cUSD is minted and burned by a Vault contract. Users deposit supported dollar-denominated assets, with USDC and USDT used as examples in the docs, and receive cUSD at roughly one to one at oracle prices. Mint and burn fees depend on how each asset sits in the reserve, and minting and burning pause if oracle prices are stale. Redeeming returns a proportional share of the whole reserve basket for a fixed fee, which is meant to stop one weak asset from leaving the last holders with the loss.
Idle reserve assets are put to work in yield strategies, including lending markets such as Aave and Morpho. Registered borrowers can draw reserve assets, and interest from them, along with returns on idle funds, flows to holders who stake cUSD for the yield-bearing token stcUSD.
What CUSD is used for
- Holding a dollar token backed by a basket of stablecoins.
- Staking into stcUSD to earn lending and reserve yield.
- Providing the lending liquidity that Cap's whitelisted borrowers use.
CUSD supply and token design
cUSD has no fixed cap and is created and destroyed as users mint and redeem. The contract on Ethereum is 0xcccc62962d17b8914c62d74ffb843d73b2a3cccc, and the same address is used on MegaETH. Cap's docs say cUSD is backed one to one by its reserve, with mint and burn fees directed to an insurance fund. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.
Official information is on cap.app.
What to check before using CUSD
- cUSD is backed by other stablecoins, so a depeg, freeze or seizure of a reserve asset can hurt cUSD.
- Redemptions can be delayed if reserve assets are fully lent out to borrowers.
- Lending to borrowers adds credit risk, which Cap addresses with whitelisting and underwriter collateral that can be liquidated.
- Smart-contract, oracle and cross-chain bridge risks apply, and idle funds in Aave or Morpho carry those protocols' risks.
- Confirm the contract address, because several unrelated tokens use the CUSD ticker.

Cap USD market analysis
With a market capitalisation of $35.78 million, Cap USD (CUSD) is classed as a micro-cap asset and ranks #533 of 406 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 0.0% of them. It accounts for roughly under 0.01% of the combined tracked market value. Micro-cap assets are thinly traded in most cases: a modest order can move the price and spreads are often wide.
Over the last 24 hours roughly $50.5 thousand of CUSD changed hands, equal to 0.14% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 0.0% of tracked assets. Trading activity is very low relative to market cap, which usually points to poor liquidity. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 22% of tracked assets.
Price action: CUSD moved +0.63% in 24 hours and +0.63% over 7 days. It outperformed Bitcoin by 2.81 percentage points over 24 hours and by 4.22 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (ahead by 2.63 points on the day and ahead by 5.13 points on the week), it has been a relative strength in recent sessions.
To overtake Verge (XVG) just above it, Cap USD would need to grow its market cap by about 0.3%; it is 0.7% larger than Linea (LINEA) just below. Its market cap is under 0.01% of Bitcoin's.
