How this score is calculated

A weighted average of five signals computed from the market data on this page. Each signal is scored from 0 to 100:

  • Liquidity (25%): 24-hour trading volume divided by market cap.
  • Market depth (25%): market cap, on a logarithmic scale from $10 million to $1 trillion.
  • Supply (15%): circulating supply divided by max supply, or by total supply when there is no cap. More supply already in circulation scores higher.
  • Distance from peak (15%): the current price compared with the all-time high.
  • Stability (20%): the largest recent price swing among the 1-hour move (×3), the 24-hour move and the 7-day move (÷2.6).

Bands: 75 and above strong, 55–74 fair, 35–54 weak, below 35 fragile.

Limits: the score describes current market structure only. It is not a price forecast, an audit or investment advice, and it does not consider the team, code or token unlocks. A missing input counts as a neutral 50.

About Brett

What is Brett (BRETT)?

Brett (BRETT) is a meme token on Base, the Ethereum layer-2 network incubated by Coinbase. It is named after Brett, a character from Matt Furie's "Boys' Club" comic, the same series that gave the internet Pepe. The token is a fan tribute and is presented as the mascot of the Base ecosystem. Matt Furie has no official ties to BRETT or to the other Boys' Club tokens.

BRETT launched on Base in February 2024. Its rise was helped by attention from the Base community and from Base leadership during the network's Onchain Summer campaign, which made it one of the best-known meme assets on that chain.

What BRETT is used for

BRETT has no protocol, product or governance function. It is a community and culture token, and its value comes from social interest and trading activity rather than from utility.

  • Holding and trading as a meme asset on Base decentralized exchanges and on centralized exchanges that list it.
  • Community participation, including memes, social campaigns and ecosystem events around the Base network.
  • Use as a low-cost, high-activity asset for testing wallets and swaps on Base.

BRETT supply and token design

BRETT is a standard ERC-20 token with a fixed supply of roughly 10 billion tokens. The contract has been renounced, which means the creators can no longer mint new tokens or change the contract code. Reported launch allocation was 85% to liquidity pools, 10% to a treasury and 5% for centralized exchange listings.

The main contract is on Base at 0x532f27101965dd16442e59d40670faf5ebb142e4. Several lookalike tokens use the same name and ticker on other networks, so check the address before you swap. Live circulating supply is shown in the market data on this page.

Official information is on basedbrett.com.

What to check before using BRETT

  • Meme tokens carry no cash flows or utility, so price swings can be extreme and long drawdowns are common.
  • Copycat tokens with the same name or ticker exist. Confirm the contract address on Base through a block explorer.
  • Liquidity is concentrated in a few pools and exchanges, so large orders can move the price.
  • There is no company or foundation behind the token, so there is no roadmap or party you can hold accountable.
  • BRETT depends on the health and fees of Base, and on continued community attention.

Brett project profile

Brett (BRETT) is marked as inactive in public project registries. Development or trading may have stopped, so any price shown on this page can be stale or illiquid. Check that the asset can still be traded or withdrawn before relying on it.

Brett market analysis

With a market capitalisation of $41.13 million, Brett (BRETT) is classed as a micro-cap asset and ranks #360 of 402 cryptocurrencies with a reported market cap on CryptoWave, larger than about 10.4% of them. It accounts for roughly under 0.01% of the combined tracked market value. Micro-cap assets are thinly traded in most cases: a modest order can move the price and spreads are often wide.

Over the last 24 hours roughly $2.99 million of BRETT changed hands, equal to 7.27% of its market cap, which puts its trading volume ahead of about 45.3% of tracked assets. That is a moderate, fairly typical level of turnover. Its turnover ratio is higher than that of about 80% of tracked assets.

Price action: BRETT moved −3.78% in 24 hours and −10.77% over 7 days. It underperformed Bitcoin by 1.72 percentage points over 24 hours and by 6.91 points over 7 days. Against the median tracked coin (behind by 1.80 points on the day and behind by 6.12 points on the week), it has been a relative laggard in recent sessions.

To overtake affine (SN120) just above it, Brett would need to grow its market cap by about 0.5%; it is 0.7% larger than EfficientFrontier (SN53) just below. Its market cap is under 0.01% of Bitcoin's.
